I started this rework a couple of years back, in honour of my favourite anime. It’s been over 10 years since that first watercolour I did, it really deserved a glow up. I haven’t kept up with the series, my life is too messy right now, but it was amazing to work on the gang again.

BOOM REDRAW!!!! This was one of the most requested redraws on my miraculous redraw post and then while I was doing some redraws in an old sketchbook I found a sketch for it so I knew I had to do a redraw of the redraw. So here it is! Super late but hey that’s life haha
Galway Hotel concept by Taras Kashko aims at splicing modern design into Paris’ historic district.
Designed by Ukrainian architect Taras Kashko, this dramatic design for a modular hotel in Paris is a stark contrast to the surrounding architecture in Paris. 25 guest rooms would be built into the floor space, with a lounge bar and shops on the ground floor. The design allows for the maximum amount of space for guests while achieving what the architect calls ‘a soothing harmony between contemporary architecture and the existing historical environment’.
I for one love this concept. The perforated metal exterior is a real showstopper. Metal cladding is becoming increasingly popular in new builds and the architect has found a great balance here… assuming it would translate into reality successfully.

Besides the different drawing/coloring styles/poses, I changed Zelda’s outfit to look less like a waitress (someone pointed it out to me after the fact, and yeah they were right) and changed it to purple (in honor of Twilight Princess and to make her stand out from Peach)
