“Too Much, Never Enough”

this is my final piece for my drawing series on ADHD, its the only piece to not be about a symptom/sign. this piece is about the progression through life, from being a child/teen with undiagnosed ADHD who was constantly told that I was “too childish/talkative/impulsive/lazy/etc” and shed pieces of myself and was punished frequently for something out of my control, to the process of growth in the aftermath of my diagnosis when I had to find resources and heal from the trauma of spending my entire life held to a standard I couldn’t have possibly ever reached; and finally taking me to a place where I am “never enough” rather than “too much”
