With principal photography for Peyton Reed’s Ant-Man beginning only yesterday in San Francisco, Marvel Studios has released the first official image from the film, giving us our first look at Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang.

Fans also get a better glimpse at Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) as the Avengers spar amongst themselves. The phase-three Marvel film finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
Aside from Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), some of our other favorite superheroes including Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), War Machine (Don Cheadle) and Vision (Paul Bettany) also star in the action-packed film hitting theaters May 6!
There have been teasers but as yet, the man who wore suits so fine he made Sinatra look like a hobo hasn’t given us any full-length, clip-based love for Anchorman: The Legend Continues…. until now.

Dare I say it’s not that good though? No, no. Enough of this nay saying. For the time being, let’s just assume Ferrell, McKay, Apatow and co are not falling into the trap of putting all the funniest moments in the trailer and that it’ll be brilliant.
WithAnchorman: The Legend Continues well into its shooting schedule, they’re still not giving much away and to be honest, I don’t think I’d be alone in thinking it’s getting to be ri-goddam-diculous!
Thankfully though, Ferrell, McKay and co know we’re hungry, so, much like the first, they’ve provided us with another teaser to wrap our pleats around.

Is anyone else petrified that this won’t live up to the original? Will Baxter save the day again? It certainly looks like they’re not holding back on big name cameos if a cast list including Jim Carey, Harrison Ford, Kirsten Dunst, Liam Neeson, Nicole Kidman, Tina Fey, Kirsten Wiig, John C. Reilly, Sacha Baron Cohen, James Marsden, Amy Poehler and Kanye West is anything to go by…
So I was in my room, eating some dried apricots, and I looked at the bag (it was the Newman’s Own brand) and I noticed that the guy on the bag looked like an older version of Paul Rudd:

And then I told my dad, and he was like “oh ya, that’s Paul Newman”
