Half of me is an ocean

without light, without sound

water filled my heart

Sketching on the beach! I’ve been overdoing it with my hand RSI lately so I haven’t drawn for a while, but this was nice.

[ID: A pale hand holding up a sketchbook in front of an ocean and rocky beach in the late afternoon. The page holds a pencil drawing of a larger section of the beach, with a seawall, hurricane break, and telephone poles. The ocean and sky are roughed in with a light blue brushpen, and the plastic covered wire tethers holding down unseen telephone poles are yellow, but the rest is just scribbly pencil with smudging for shading.]

recent self portrait, just mechanical pencil on computer paper. I tried some strategic eraser swipes for my gray hairs this time, haha.

Inside…deep within me, I’m still 9 years old.
