Can we just talk about his face here for a second? Like, Percy was going to get revenge at any cost to himself or others, he was ready to die for this and in a second, that’s all on the back burner because -holy shit- he has a sister?!?! Just a few things that I imagine are going through his head:
- Why am only I learning this now
- What the actual fuck Cass
- What the actual fuck am I doing, that was ridiculously reckless and stupid because there is someone left worth living for and I am now obligated to try to survive all this bullshit
- Cass has been left alone with these monsters for how long because I left her to die while we were escaping and never looked back. That’s all my fault
- If we both get through this alive, I will owe her so fucking much
- I have a sister
To paraphrase what Taliesin said on the Q&A: his face says it all. And I just- *chef’s kiss* I love it
Me: Early game Percy de Rolo is a deeply flawed character with disturbing and violent tendencies and should not be idolized at this point in his arc
