I love steaming my face. It leaves my skin feeling soft, and gives me a glow. Here is why you should steam your face too! Steaming your face will literally steam the Shit out of your face that you don’t want.

Benefits

Cleanses pores

Increases blood circulation

Gets rid of toxins

Promotes relaxation

Gives a skin a glow

Here are the directions:

1.       Grab a pot and fill it with water

2.       Wash face

3.       Bring the water to a hot temperature where you can see steam come from pot

4.       Add any oils to the hot water

5.       You can either pour the water into a bowl or leave water in pot

6.       Lean your head over the pot or bowl for 5-10 mins with a towel over your head

7.       Exfoliate, tone and moisturize

8.       Steam your face once or twice a month

Please be careful while following these instructions

This face mask is my favorite mask to use when my face is really dry or needs extra moisture.  It also helps reduce the appearance of acne. It’s easy to do and has great benefits. This mask is just  Bananas.

Here are the benefits of incorporating bananas into your beauty routine:

·         Amino Acid

·         Vitamin C and A

·         Potassium

·         Vitamin A

·         Zinc

·         Antioxidants

Instructions:

1.       Wash face

2.       Cut off a piece of a banana and rub it on face

3.       Leave banana on for 30 minutes

4.        Rinse face

I have seen several posts of people saying drinking water has not helped their acne. Some people are lucky enough where a  water only routine keeps their skin clear. Others are unfortunate (like me) where a water onlyroutine will not keep their skin clear.

I’m a firm believer in drinking a gallon of water a day.  Water is key to life and to beautiful skin. Since taking my water intake seriously, I have seen a change in my skin. My skin is more moisturized and looks more healthy.  Water has done wonders for my skin, but it is not my only way of keeping my skin clear of acne. I have developed a routine of toning, moisturizing, and exfoliating my skin.

If you drink lots of water and your skin is still breaking out, you might have to try different ways of fighting acne in addition to drinking water.

I been recently  using coffee grounds as a  facial/body scrub and I love it.  I brew my own coffee everyday and use the grounds for my beauty needs. I love how it makes my face feel and look, plus i’m saving money on buying a facial scrub. This is a natural and easy  scrub that I recommend you trying.

Benefits

  • Makes skin smooth
  • Exfoliates dry skin
  • Improves cellulite
  • Contains a lot of antioxidants
  • Improves puffy eyes
  • Fights wrinkles
  • Improves blood circulation

Instructions:

  1. ¼ cup of coffee
  2. ½ cup of Preferred oil
  3. Optional: 2 tbsp of salt or sugar

Mix these ingredients together and rub the mixture in a circular motion. I recommend changing the proportions of these ingredients depending on your skin type and if you will be using this as a facial or body scrub.

1.Do not suggest acne products: it’s a kind gesture, but chances are we know. We’ve tried it. Our cabinets are overflowing with products that have failed us. My bathroom looks like a small chemistry lab.

2.Do not draw correlations between acne and our diet: I tried drinking 8 waterbottles a day, eating organic, cutting out sugar, filling up on a laundry list of fruits and vegetables. It’s not often the solution. A lot of us would have clear skin if it were that easy.

3.Do not talk about your so-called acne: As I’m sitting here drowning in my own face oil and covered in multiple pimples, I am incredibly envious of your one red dot that apparently, for you, constitutes ‘acne.’ Give me that acne plz.

4.Do not tell us “you can’t see our acne”: Yes you can. So can I. Your feigned blindness to it does more harm than it does good.
