You should give a fuck to give a fuck about yourself. You can either take care of yourself or let yourself fall apart. You don’t have to immediately know how to take care of yourself, but you can take small steps to learn. Your physical and mental health matters.
For a long time I did not care about myself. I wanted to be in a better place but did not know how to get there. It took time to establish healthy behaviors. In the beginning of my journey, the small successes really helped. If I met my goal of successfully mediating or completing yoga for the day, I would be really proud of myself.
Please give a fuck about your well-being.
I have seen several posts of people saying drinking water has not helped their acne. Some people are lucky enough where a water only routine keeps their skin clear. Others are unfortunate (like me) where a water onlyroutine will not keep their skin clear.
I’m a firm believer in drinking a gallon of water a day. Water is key to life and to beautiful skin. Since taking my water intake seriously, I have seen a change in my skin. My skin is more moisturized and looks more healthy. Water has done wonders for my skin, but it is not my only way of keeping my skin clear of acne. I have developed a routine of toning, moisturizing, and exfoliating my skin.
If you drink lots of water and your skin is still breaking out, you might have to try different ways of fighting acne in addition to drinking water.
I have been under a lot of stress these past few weeks from life. I have been feeling like I can not take catch a break. Every Time one situation improves, another situation gets worse. The amount of stress I have been under has been causing me to have to have frequent panic attacks. I was at work two weeks ago, and I started to have a panic attack, and it was at the moment when I realized I have to take control of this. I have to be proactive to about this problem. I have been taking steps to improve my stress level and anxiety.
- I meditate more than once a day. Every time I feel myself getting stressed out, I go and mediate. No matter where I am, I will find a quiet place to calm myself.
- I made yoga extra mandatory
- I have increased the amount of chamomile tea I drink. I have also started carrying chamomile pills in my bag.
- When panic attack happens, I focus on my breathing and tell myself I will be okay, i’m doing good, and things will get better. I repeat these things to myself until I calm down.
- I have been spending time with my partner and friends
- I have been spending more time on my hobbies
- I have been working out at home. ( Hopefully I will start going to the gym again)
- I have been writing my emotions
If you are under a lot of stress or battle anxiety , please don’t let it control you. Take some small steps to get in front of it. It might take some time to completely get a hold of it, but at least you will have some control or have the tools to reduce it.
If you tried any of these tips, please comment below if they helped you.
I been recently using coffee grounds as a facial/body scrub and I love it. I brew my own coffee everyday and use the grounds for my beauty needs. I love how it makes my face feel and look, plus i’m saving money on buying a facial scrub. This is a natural and easy scrub that I recommend you trying.
Benefits
- Makes skin smooth
- Exfoliates dry skin
- Improves cellulite
- Contains a lot of antioxidants
- Improves puffy eyes
- Fights wrinkles
- Improves blood circulation
Instructions:
- ¼ cup of coffee
- ½ cup of Preferred oil
- Optional: 2 tbsp of salt or sugar
Mix these ingredients together and rub the mixture in a circular motion. I recommend changing the proportions of these ingredients depending on your skin type and if you will be using this as a facial or body scrub.
Yes, that’s the approach I’m taking when it comes to gaining more confidence, being outspoken, and believing I am more. These are all areas that I need to work on that are holding me back from growing as a person and trying new things.
· First, I’m not a confident person and shy away from any attention I receive. I’m really shy and awkward. I need just have more confidence in myself.
· Second, I always doubt myself and hold back what I want to say or think. Either I say a little or don’t say anything at all. I need to express my voice more and stop this behavior.
· Third, all my life I was told I was just a pretty face and my brain abilities were not encouraged. Most people assume I’m really stupid which I find to be really offensive because I am smart and able to understand things. I need to believe in my brain and stop believing what people tell me about my brain.
Every day after I complete my yoga session and start meditating, at the end of my meditation I tell myself I’m confident, outgoing, and smart. I find this to be helping me. The more I lie to myself, the more I’m believing it. I’m actually seeing minor improvements. I’m not doubting myself as much, I’m voicing my opinions more, and when someone questions my intelligence it does not bother me as much because I’m smart.
So if you lack confidence, not outspoken, or if you told you are not anything more than a pretty face:
LIE TO YOURSELF.
