LIVE

a background i made for something, but i ended up liking this more as its own thing. so here my fellow pirate enthusiasts, some piratecore pixel art :]

Okay guys, so I need your help!

You see the shirt in this post? I need one like it, so if anyone knows where I can find one (basically like a cotton or linen button down shirt with bishop sleeves) that would be much appreciated :)

It’s pretty much just a poet shirt/pirate shirt, but I haven’t been able to find exactly what I’m looking for :( ‍☠️

Drew my sister and myself as pirates because we both can’t stop thinking about OFMD. She’s my captain

1. I like to call these ones “I’m not mad, just disappointed” and “If you don’t stop that I will slice you into a sardine sundae”

2. … Ahh, these ones … They’re pretty rough. Need practice. X’D Gotta get better at hugs and hair .. movement.

3. And a little Jin that I liked. (A REALLY little Jin, it’s like the size of my finger)

I think I know what my characters look like until I try to draw a reference sheet for them and then … nada. IB

This was a challenge to do, but I feel like I understand how to draw Eaton Clairemont a fair bit better now. XD It was surprisingly a really good exercise! I’m doing a reference sheet for Blythe, too, so I’ll post that next week.

I was going to do one of these for each of the crew, but … nah. Nah man. Nope. X’D That was a lot of work. Until I get closer to actually DRAWING the comic as opposed to WRITING it, reference sheets of just these 2 will do for now!

I also tried used some character models for the different standing poses, too, so that was also good practice! And the weapons are really fun to draw!! I’ve been trying to decide on Eaton’s sword and ring designs for a while, so it’s nice to finally have them decided. XD
