Some sneaky peekies from the upcoming first issue of Witchaboos: featuring Lacey, Hannah and McKenzie. Aka those disgusting trash babies I draw all the time.

It’s finally happening!

Sneak-peek of a panel from my ten pages of full colour comic for the @founders-zine Dreams of Peace. 

I’ve been so busy arting yet nothing to show (yet) for so long now. I’m finishing it up today, hopefully, and then you all have to wait and buy the zine when pre-orders release 1st of september x3 

But, seriously. I made 10 pages of comic in traditional art promarkers I feel heroic and somewhat insane and a tad bit exhausted over here. It’ll take some time to sink in! x’3 So, uh, on to the 2022 calendar piece and so on, I guess x’p

Had some coffee and sketch-time this morning after tutoring.

I forgot how lanky dessert hare really are so I did these with reference.

Time to start sketching page soon but first I wanted to do some practice sketches to get consistent at drawing these kids again.
First step is to do a quick little height reference so I know how to place these kids in this world. Otherwise I’ll be accidentally making all the things their size, hah.

This is the concept stuff I did for Bishop and Crab!

Bishop is Blythe’s Second Mate.
Crab is Eaton’s Second Mate.

They’re not very similar, but they’re … reliable …
… yeh. X’D

These are kind of a jumble with notes here and there since they’re more concept stuff for me rather than finished stuff, but I thought you guys might like to see it, too. :]

This is Jin (J-ee-n), Blythe’s First Mate.
And this is Garin (G-ah-r-in), Eaton’s First Mate.

(I .. doubt I used the phonetic system right, but hopefully that helps with pronunciation. X’D X’D Ahh, if not, sorry.)

I’ve been working out colour schemes for the crew while continuing to write Season 2 where I can. It’s been a bit tough this year, since so many things have been happening already, but things are still progressing. ^^ I have some similar stuff for the Second Mates, as well, so I’ll post ‘em later, too. I’m excited to show you guys since you haven’t seen them as much, hehe.

Ok, ok, these are the last recent sketches. XD

1. Captains bullying each other, just a normal day, really

2. Ever respectable Jin, taking a break and munching on some bread because he deserves it

3. Ahh, I was trying to practice drawing motion/weight … But I got distracted and ended up drawing the compass I got for Christmas instead. X’D

My favourite sketches out of these ones have got to be the expressions at the top. XD

1. I like to call these ones “I’m not mad, just disappointed” and “If you don’t stop that I will slice you into a sardine sundae”

2. … Ahh, these ones … They’re pretty rough. Need practice. X’D Gotta get better at hugs and hair .. movement.

3. And a little Jin that I liked. (A REALLY little Jin, it’s like the size of my finger)

Wee, some sketches! (Part 1)

Mostly just of Blythe and Eaton annoying each other and everyone around them, now that I look at it … X’D I’ll post more of Jin and Garin in the next one, since I’ve been drawing them, too.

1. If you can’t physically hurt your rival since you’re working together, providing them with minor annoyances works, too

2. Or providing them with actual annoyances

3. Garin is tired … in many ways

4. I wanted to flesh out the differences in the eyes. It’s Eaton, Blythe, Jin, and Garin’s.
