Alternate ending, polka-dot man lives. Maybe instead of being crushed my Starro, maybe Starro missed and the impact just flinged him off somewhere and knocked him out. I dunno if it makes sense, either way I can dream.
My sister said “he’s gonna die” a few seconds after he did. When he got nuked I audibly said “no!” Damn. Edit: David shared this fanart to his stories again

Even though I was hoping for Wayne Manor this is still an impressive set to finish the LEGO Batman Movie lineup, in particular in terms of minifigures. Polka -Dot Man, Bat-Alfred, Flying Monkeys and the Wicked Witch are just perfect

I have no evidence to back this up but new hc that aside from his canon moves, Task Force X’s Polka-Dot Man dances like Napoleon Dynamite
I just wanted to draw pretty women and dress.
Something that makes me sad is I feel like Abner had to grow up to soon, considering he was probably the oldest of his surviving siblings if he killed his mom. I doubt she looked after them so the responsibility to feed and comfort them probably fell on him.
It’s probably why he’s so empathetic but also just accepts he’ll never be looked after so he tries not to make himself a nuisance.
Case in point: “it’s just a rash” “it’s nothing I tripped” he assumes they’ll yell at him instead of caring about his well-being (and he was somewhat correct)

I wanna write a Polka-Dot Man-centric reworking of TSS, for lots of Very Spoilery reasons
And include Winnie because I’m an indulgent asshat
