forgot to tell y’all the other day when i got the score but i got a 511 on the MCAT and i will not be taking that shit again :) so relieved and proud of myself, i studied for a month almost nonstop and this was my first time taking it! i started with a practice exam score of 496 so this is such a big leap for me

it’s been a minute since i posted on here! i’ve been using my studygram a lot more but i’m going to try and do both! i’m studying for my last genetics exam of the semester today and just trying to push through to the end of this weird semester/year :) today i’m drinking a hazelnut latte which i made using my stovetop bialetti moka (which i am addicted to now)
some anki flashcards for all your microscopy identification needs :) this anki deck is actually linked on my blog if you’re studying for a microbiology/intro bio course and need to learn how images appear under different microscopes!
made a little study tracker/schedule on notion using a kanban board template they have and i love it! so satisfying and organized. i have a genetics exam coming up in 2 weeks that i really want to get an A on so i’m studying hard :)
today, i made iced coffee with hershey’s chocolate caramel creamer!
started making my OWN coffee again so this is just a hazelnut iced coffee (still very yummy and didn’t cost $5)

So I have a giant Herpes plush from Giant Microbes…. And for years I have given the smaller plush version of it to people I love as a funny gift.

The hospital gave us these lanyards today. Told us that each bead was hand made by rolling paper over and over again and dipping it in varnish. The organization provides a home for victims of sexual assault or war crimes in Uganda that is funded by donations and the sale of these lanyards.
… we were told to imagine each bead as a celebration of the outstanding diversity within the patient population we will serve. And to remember that each bead represents a life made more safe by our wearing it.
