Hero started ask themselfs why were they doing this.
Locking Villain and making them suffer just for information they already had? Why? It’s because the leader wanted that they admitted that they knew?

Villain already said they didn’t.
Hero laughed at the things they were going to do. Villain was right in one thing.
They were fucking crazy.

The leader was again within the Villain’s cell again. With a barely illuminated spot, and the cold walls, Villain found themself trembling again.
The look in Leader’s face was scary. So much. The look of disdain, the look of “The moment you admit to know, you gonna die”.
Hero was just behind them, looking to the villain like it was some bug that entered their house.
But then. Hero hit Leader with a metal pipe, sending them right in the ground.
“Hey, I- it’s ok.” Villain started crying after the leader passed out, and Hero started to comfort them.
But they weren’t crying of fear or pain. But of relief.
Maybe pain too.

“Chase and Catch”
Tw: stab wound, dehumanization, chasing someone to try and hurt, hallucinations, infected wounds, bad hero, good villain. (If I forgot something, don’t hesitate in tell me!) Be safe <3
Villain was running for the past 7 minutes. Or it was 10? He didn’t know anymore.
And everything hurt. His head ached and his fingers trembled. The wound in his side was oozing so much blood that he really believed that he would die if he closed his eyes.
“Please, please.” He begged for some mercy of the ones who were hunting him.
But he did know that it was only for fun.
Was called “Hunt and Catch”. The most of the Heroes joined to play, because it was fun watching the Villains run through the city trying not to collapse and if they collapse they die-
His thoughts were interrupted with a hand in their mouth, and another in their stomach. There’s more pairs of hands and a little pain in their neck, that in matter of seconds he were sleeping.
While this happened, Vigilante was watching it. He were a little bit more in the dark side because of this scene.
And Vigilante was determinaded to show this game for the country.
“Wait a little, Villain. I need to get informations of this shit,” Was left in the cold air, while the villain was getting into a van.

“Wakey wakey.” One of the Heroes said, scoffing when Villain opened his eyes. They wasn’t waiting for this, but they did congratulated the catchers.
They just left a half-empty cup of water and a little loaf of bread. Guess it was the dinner of the night.
“Was a beautiful chase, guys. Maybe I will even call you to make more of these.” Hero1 said, closing Villain’s cells and going to next to the Heroes.
Villain was hurt yet. They didn’t notice the shadow that were in the corner of the room, but they did notice the bandage roll that was getting through the barriers of his cell.
“Wha-” He started, but very fast notice that if he didn’t get it now, he wasn’t getting other opportunity.
Taking the roll and starting to patch himself up was not easy.
The wound was infected, and there were so much of them. Some of them already stopped bleeding, but yet, he was really injured.
His fingers started trembling while his eyes filled with tears.
He wasn’t a guy easy to break, but when he noticed that the “chase” (more a hunt) were created to make the villains suffer just to the Heroes entertain themselves, it make his heart broke in little pieces.

23 days and 5 hours. Maybe 6 hours. Was the time that Villain was being used like prey to the Heroes have their fun.
They even let him have alchohol to help with the infected wounds!
That day was worse. He were stabbed two times, was a little beaten up and they had only given him a little cup of water.
After pulling himself together to not literally cry and beg and collapse in front of the others, they let him go back to his cell.
He laid slowly in the bed, pulling his knees to his chest until his ribs screamed in agony.
The Villain didn’t know who much time passed, but when he came to his senses, two gentle fingers where getting in his pulse under his jaw, and a “It’s okay, try to go back to sleep,” slipped through his ears.
The comfort of have a hallucination that had the same voice of Vigilante was enough to calm his heart and go back to sleep.

Vigilante was home. But with a sleeping Villain in his arms, making a little chocked sound when he move to abruptly.
He laid Villain in the couch and got some Aid Kit, starting to take care of the worse wound of the other.
When Vigilante touched in a serious infected wound in Villains leg, he came to his senses with a scream.
That hurt like hell.

“I didn’t know that you were in love with me until I see your sidekick get the love potion for them and gave you water with pink dye.” Villain said, walking towards Hero and putting a hand in their waist.
“Look into my eyes. I was and am in love with you with or without love potion.” Villain said, but let out a little chuckle.
“Why are you laughing?!” Hero said, with tears in their eyes. Villain felt the same or it was a trap?
“Because YOUR sidekick gave the love potion for MY sidekick.” Villain said between laughs, and was laughing loudly after saying. Hero laughed with them and placed a little kiss in the lips of Villain.
