Summary: Sasori decides to do a favor for the fairy king, presently known as Third. Who owes who is a subject of scholarly debate.

Tbh I have been watching the event for some time now and when I saw the prompt for March (Rare pair) I understood that I need to participate with my beloved NejiHina
I’m not sure that my art fits the second prompt as well, but on the other hand we are talking about the Hyūga clan and byakugan, that means there is a chance for all clan’s members to be watched and exposed to others eyes 24/7. At the same time this is exactly what makes them value other people’s privacy more than ordinary people do it.
By the way, I think it is thanks to the byakugan that the Hyūgas are very aware of their bodies in various ways. Since early childhood, they have the opportunity to study their bodies. It allows them to better monitor the state of their body and that’s why the Hyūga can stay healthy and in good shape longer than ordinary people. Besides with enough imagination and a perfect chakra control, more interesting and pleasant uses for the byakugan can be discovered

the title for this art is inspired by one really old NejiHina fic. The basic idea of the fic and my art is similar, but I had quite different interpretation in my mind while drawing it :)

I like to headcanon that Kushina and Mikoto have been “gal pals” since long before Minato entered the equation, and that after they got married she just kinda stuck around as their occasional third until she married Fugaku. Nobody asks what the girls do on their weekend trips together after they’re all married: Minato doesn’t care as long as Kushina still pegs him when she gets home and Fugaku probably just doesn’t care period. And y'know, they all die before Naruto and Sasuke getting together can cause some very awkward issues XD
