And yes, Snotlout is a literal dwarf next to the others and Fishlegs doesn’t seem to match the style but that’s because they were the first and done some time apart from the rest - gotta try redrawing them both some time
Currently thinking about a terribly injured Hiccup choking back tears and sobs and fighting the agony as he tells his Riders and Toothless that he’ll be okay.
Also thinking of the reverse, where one of the Riders is the one terribly hurt, Snotlout, Fishlegs, Ruff, Tuff, Astrid, doesn’t matter, and they’re the ones telling Hiccup not to worry.
“Yeees just give me five minutes with the three who dropped me back IN THE OCEAN” - Johann, after Stoick asked if there was anything else he could do for him
(Snotlout, Tuffnut and Ruffnut, did in fact leave him on a lone rock in the middle of the ocean)
Knowing that Johann is actually a vicious dragon killer that could definitely kill them all in five minutes makes this so much funnier
Ruffnut: When I was a kid, Tuffnut told me that the paper strip that’s in the chocolate kisses were edible and I ate them with the chocolate for a year
