#school supplies
Since I live in the Philippines, June is practically the back-to-school season for most Filipino students and, for me, school starts in a few days. Specifically, Tuesday! send help pls
This year, we went to different branches of National Bookstore and also to Typo to buy my school supplies. And today, I share them to you!
To start things off, my backpack is this royal blue maxi Kanken backpack that, apparently, came all the way from Germany. It’ll be my first time to use a school bag that’s not Jansport, but since I’ve heard good reviews on this one, I’ll give it a try! If it doesn’t meet my expectations, then I’ll be back to using Jansport.
I also bought this Iris accordion folder which I’ll be using to organize the documents my teachers will give to me :-)) I actually have an accordion folder for last school year, but it got broken because of me that’s why I bought a new one!
I also bought a few things at school that I think are for clearance! First is the long white folder (I’m not showing the front part because it has the school logo on it haha), then there’s a long brown envelope that’s already with a plastic envelope and another long brown envelope. There’s also another long plastic envelope that I bought, a world map, a 12-inch ruler and also a black Artline whiteboard marker!
Because I’m a student, I obviously need paper (and quite a lot of them!) that’s why *drum roll* I bought paper! I bought the Best Buy set of paper that includes 1 intermediate pad, 1 ½ crosswise, 1 ½ lengthwise and 4 of the ¼ths! Since I often run out of intermediate paper, I also bought an extra one!
Because I ran out of stock from last year, I also bought a BIC glue stick, Elmer’s school glue, Scotch’s scotch tape, tartan’s masking tape, Backtrax Micro Undo correction tape, Best Buy’s colored paperclips, Best Buy’s foldback/binder clips and also a pair of scissors from Bana!
For my writing supplies, I only bought 2 of the black Pilot Gtec 0.3 refills for my pens. I didn’t buy a red pen because I found out my red pen still has ink :-)) I also bought 3 of the Pilot Frixion highlighters! I’ve heard good reviews about them as well, so I kind of have high expectations for them. I haven’t used them, though, that’s why I’m excited once we’re required to use them already!
Obviously, a school supplies haul wouldn’t be complete without, *another drum roll* nOTEBOOKS !!!
To start off, I have this Cattleya math notebook for the Math subject (obviously).
I also have these paperline notebooks. I actually bought 6 of these, but since I didn’t like the quality of the paper, I decided to buy 4 more notebooks. And those notebooks are …. *third drum roll*
these Typo notebooks! They were quite expensive, but I really adored the paper quality of these notebooks (and also, their design is amazing!) that’s why I bought them! They also have these back-to-back pocket organizers as the first “page” which is super cool!
Well, that’s all for this post! If you want to watch my YouTube video on this (yes, I have a YouTube channel!), click this :-)) Have a nice day, all you lovely people !!! :-))
Scroll of The Covenant
Sorry for not posting in such a long time. I’ve had some stress issues surrounding school as well as some mental health problems.
Anyway as I’m trying to get my life back on track, I’ve decided to set some reminders on my phone so I don’t forget to post on here. So hopefully that’ll result in some more activity from me
Also sorry for the bad lighting in this picture. I pulled an all nighter when I took this so this was taken at around 2 am. Photoshop can only do so much
I had a day of from school today (cause it’s exam week). So because my friends all had to retake exams I decided to go to school voluntarily for their moral support!
As a result: during their tests I studied for my upcoming exam, which is next week. In total I was at school for 8 hours straight, and studied for 5 of those.
I also got a free chocolate muffin from my best friend as a “here have some study motivation” after he came back from his math test, so that’s a great bonus.
Truly started of great with my new year’s resolution to post more. I’ve been daily posting ever since I first mentioned that resolution here, and it’s not even January 1st yet!
Normally I only use the same colour as the page border, but I had to actually colour code for once, so the last picture actually has colours

I decided to do a “Five Fav Fridays” series, just listing a few great things about my life, things I’ve enjoyed, or whatever else I’d like, on Fridays.
1. Pure Leaf Iced Sweet Tea
Pure Leaf Iced Sweet Tea is my favorite brand of iced sweet tea. I’m a sucker for sweet tea, given my insane sweet tooth and love for tea, but Pure Leaf has managed to create a tea that isn’t too sweet, but not too bitter either. Plus, it’s only a few bucks at the grocery store! Perfect.
2. Spoken Word Poetry
Spoken Word Poetry has a very special place in my heart. I’ve spent numerous hours on YouTube, Vimeo, and Ted Talks, watching in amazement how these strangers can pull so many emotions out of me with their own. Spoken word is amazing, and if you haven’t checked any of it out, I’ll post some of my favorites below.

3. Homecoming Football Game
My home town is known for having an intense virus of school spirit. Homecoming is nothing short of crazy, intense, and wild, all in good fun. Tonight is the homecoming football game, and, being a recent graduate, I’m really excited to watch the game and see the Homecoming Court be presented during half time. My little brother is a running back for the team and I’m really looking forward to watching him play and run the ball! Friday nights were meant for football.
4. Cute School Supplies
Cute school supplies are a must! Especially now that I’m in college, I want to be excited to do my school work and be successful. Cute pens and organization helps! (Though my desk drawer isn’t that cute).
I bought this chevron binder for .49 cents and already had this coral monogram sticker, so I combined the two and woolah! I have a cute binder to put my text book! Annoyingly, two of my text books came as a stack of loose papers, so this was a trendy solution.
Cute pens and personalized stationary is also essential. I bought these pens at Target in the $1 section! They come in a pack of two and are super cute, but don’t last very long. But, they’re trendy and only .50 cents! My monogrammed paper I made, easily by printing it out from Microsoft Word onto blank white paper! So easy and cute!
5. New Riding Boots
Unfortunately, my Steve Madden boots I bought last January have come to an end. It’s been a great 9 months, but they’re just too worn to wear now. Luckily for me, that meant it was time to buy new boots! I saw these in Target (online here) and thought, “I have to buy these.” I’m so glad I did! They were only $39.99 (a steal) and are so comfy and cute! My Target was running out of them, so I would recommend getting them soon or ordering them online if you’re looking for a reasonably priced riding boot!
Thanks for reading! I hope you all have a great Friday!
