Two prompts in one and purely self indulgent. My husband suggested this idea. One of the other artists told me it reminded them of Bender from Futurama and it really does. Maybe it could be a cousin of Bender’s somehow?

Just a self-indulgent little comic featuring my new Fighter, Felix. Sure he’s happy as a clam with the party now, but there was a time he hesitated before setting off for new adventures. This is a little snippet of a scene of his last day spent in his home country; his twin brother, Tristan, dragged him hither and tither around their city to make sure he’d remember the sights before he took off for that Adventurer life.

The Pines but make them look like me and my family. Btw Im illiterate in Spanish so… sorry in advance if I spelled something wrong or used the wrong accent. Yeah It was pretty wild realizing I didn’t actually know how to spell a few of the words I’ve been using my entire life.
Mabels hair is based on my best friends hair when she was 12-13! It was below her knees even when it was braided :3 I thought it would suit this Mabel.
Btw a cucuy is a monster that takes bad children. Elders like to scare kids into behaving with the threat of the cucuy coming to take them away…and it worked. My Elders have always been very dramatic and a little impatient, but they’re funny so that makes up for it ig lol. I wanted to draw/write a little interaction that would be reminiscent of how my relatives would’ve talked to me when I was caught doing something bad .
Ford mentions the cucuy but the kids can’t tell if he’s in on it with Stan or if he’s being fr and they don’t get any sleep that night.
Dipper: What if it was real this whole time?
Mabel: Shutupshutupshutupshutup I’m so scared rn shut up ☹
Btw saying “Qué” can be considered rude. I didn’t say “Que” as a kid, a lot of times I would say “What” in english but I was told that was also rude.. It’s impolite and ik from experience that a lot of elders don’t like it. Sometimes people will opt for “Mande” which is kinda like saying “What do you need?” It’s nicer ig. Apparently it’s not used by everyone, but I use it and so do many of my friends and family and no one seems notice or mind so Guess we’ll see
Oh and Tonto is a word I know ALL TOO WELL and it means exactly what you think it means.
I am working really hard those days so I guess this is a vent art/self indulgent drawing/need to draw my child because I miss them !
Yes maybe there are some flaws… Even TANGEANTS ! But for know I just don’t care !
I just wanted to draw my child.
Their name is Nouhr btw. I wish to do a (web)comic about them someday and maybe even a video game ! For now their design isn’t final or anything. I just love drawing them because they remind me a lot of funny/motivating things.
Also, let’s say it’s an inktober, again !
