Just a short review for a new BL manhwa I started reading

Semantic Error: This is what I like when I say enemies to lovers! The story revolves around determined and overworked college student Sangwoo who has to complete a whole project by himself because none of his project partners give any contribution. He tatters to the professor, leading to his project partner Jang Jaeyoung to miss graduation. They later on meet for the first time when they have to work on a game together and the amount of reciprocal pettyness is absolutely hilarious, like Jang arriving dressed all in red just because it’s Sangwoo’s least favorite color, or buying all of Sangwoo’s favorite coffee for him to get nothing. The  manhwa is still ongoing and I am at chaper 15, but I absolutely loved it, it has a mix of slight angst (related to the fact that Jaeyoung’s “harassment” appears light but it’s pretty life altering for poor Sangwoo) and fun and so sweet.

Loved this one! There were some great messages, and I couldn’t have possibly been happier with the way things turn out for Simon in the end❤

I just binged “Classroom of the Elite,” and while it had its ups and downs and was overall simply good - 7/10 - that last effing line………………..

I need season 2. Good thing it comes out this June (why so looooong?).

PS. The MC is the type of chara who’d usually be my fav from the sidelines, but he’s the MC here, hue hue.

I watched “The Legend of Vox Machina” and it was fine. Would be much better if it had less toilet “humor.”

I finished Scumbag System’s season one last night, and had a ton of fun with it. 8/10 and I’ll remember to definitely wait until the whole season two is available before watching.

One minor complaint is that this season didn’t really feel like it had a finale. It had the beginning of the finale. Did the creators get less episodes than they thought they would?

I finished “The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty” just now!

I loved the characters and the general concepts behind the plot, but I feel like it fell short on execution in some places. There were too many miraculous rescues or characters oscillating between dumb and super smart for no reason.

Overall, I had fun watching it, though. 7/10.

Update Five Stars Predictions (pt. 2) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ages ago, nine months to be exact, I made a post of five star book predictions. And the problem with those types of things are that you not only want to read them all, but have time to write reviews, because most of them actually were great.

The Hidden Girl & Other Stories by Ken Liu (my review)

In short I really appreciated and liked this collection of short stories. I had my expectation set…

Poetry: mary oliver, addonizio, lambert| Short reviews

Shame is an ocean I swim across by Mary Lambert: contains very powerful stories by someone who is a musician as well, the writing flows very well. Talks about sexual assault, mental health and fame. Very good phrasing and descriptions of situations I can relate to as well, not that that’s a requirement. The excellence of titles like “It is time to eat something other than pizza and tequila” mixes…

Three Morally-Gray Characters | Short Reviews

Two of three which is queer!

We’re doing a summary post of some books I really liked. They all deserve a full review, but this is what they’re getting.

The Traitor Baru Cormorant by Seth Dickinson (The Masquerade #1)

I genuinely loved the morally-gray (maybe even simply wicked) female protagonist. You are on her side because her island is taken over and controlled under an empire that believes…
