DaRuddest Jones is a spoken word artist, writer, producer, blogger, an definitely a personality. Her words provoke an array of emotions with her audience. She can make you feel mad, joyful, hurt, and loved all in one sitting of her spoken pieces. I had the pleasure to attend her 2nd annual artist showcase titled Memoirs Of A Starving Artist (MOASA), from her production company Rude Tee Vee Productions LLC. And let me just say the energy throughout the building was phenomenal. She has created a platform for new artists in all art forms to showcase their talents and gain exposure.
The night included spoken word artists, painters, dancers, rappers, singers, sponsors, AND great food, and drinks. BRILLIANT NIGHT! To keep up with DaRuddest Jones check out her website here.
John and Edward showed the North-West of England what they’re made of in an energetic performance at the Total Access Livefestival.
Singing three songs, the Dublin Duo were the highlight of the show with many festival-goers tweeting about how good they were. Free Spirit is a bit of a radio hit in the Staffordshire area, so it’s no surprise it was a crowd favourite on Saturday.
Hopefully the twins will perform at a few more festivals this summer, in the lead up to the release of their fourth album, in September. Tickets are now available for their Irish concerts in October.
Hey y’all. Been a little m.i.a. During this quarantine. Really just trying to re-examine what’s important to me and what I should give my energy to. Hope you guys are also able to find the motivation to reflect and also strategize your next moves. Which is the perfect segue into my next move . I’m dropping my first music video this WEDNESDAY for my new music project Yung Kobra. The group is comprised of me and Simonne Jones (artist and producer) and we’re really just trying to girl power the world. Stay tuned for more updates coming soon and don’t forget to save the date THIS WEDNESDAY
