“I’ve enjoyed the boons that come with beastblood. Just like every member of the Circle. Kodlak is right, though. We’ve given a piece of our souls for this power. I know my mythic histories. Bargains like that lead to ruin. This is a curse that was laid upon us. That much is clear.”

Been a long time since I last did a digital painting. I started playing Skyrim again recently so I thought I’d make a portrait of Vilkas who I’ve been fangirling over.

Warm up sketch I did yesterday of Skyrim’s Companion twins, Vilkas and Farkas, at a younger age.

I fight for the men I’ve held in my arms, dying on foreign soil. I fight for their wives and children, whosenames I heard whispered in their last breaths. I fight for we few who did come home, only to find our country full of strangers wearing familiar faces. I fight for my people impoverished to pay the debts of an Empire too weak to rule them, yet brands them criminals for wanting to rule themselves! I fight so that all the fighting I’ve already done hasn’t been for nothing. I fight… because I must.”

Trying to draw as much as I can before work starts again. Gahh

Credit to Christian Paskota for the amazing Storm Lord Armour design. Probably one of the coolest mods ever

“No more shall men call you ‘Forsaken,
or your land ‘Desolate,’
but you shall be called ‘My delight,’
and your land ‘Espoused.’
For the Lord delights in you,
and makes your land his spouse.

As a young man marries a virgin,
your Builder shall marry you;
and as a bridegroom rejoices in his bride
so shall you God rejoice in you.”

(Isaiah 62:3–5)

Accessability: In which I talk about my kitchen. It’s slightly more interesting than it sounds

One of the hidden truths of being disabled is that you can always get more disabled. Another hidden truth is that often the problem isn’t one of disability but one of accessibility.

On a related note my kitchen is even less accessible than I thought and now I’m sitting here hungry and waiting for takeout.

Feeding myself shouldn’t be this hard. Even during lockdown it shouldn’t be this…
