People are so strange with their desires.
One day the feeling is so intense and sure fire, the next they can barely look you in the eye for too long.
I guess that’s what I get for fighting fire with fire.
I’ve been feeling really weird about everything lately.
Not sure who to trust or who to love.
Not sure what to do or what to let go of.
So many uncertainties surround me in a time where I’m forced to be more than I’ve been before.
My brain shuts off before I ever get the chance to grow, the chance to know.
What’s really wrong and why I’m here and why the feelings inside me won’t subside.
I feel really weirdly about everything and I’m not sure what else to do.

It’s a rainy Monday afternoon and the bébé is sound asleep, which means i get to swell these rare moments of stillness. // page 7 calendars went into printing today and we are ecstatic about them ! Not merely about the calendars in and of themselves, but more so because we are partnering with “Oak Tree Project” - a scholarship fund and mentoring program for Korean orphans who get into college here in Korea. Above (Isaiah 61:3) is their theme verse. God calls us to love the orphans and in the little way that we can, Page Seven is seeking to do so. Pre-orders will be taken soon. More details to come!!

“No more shall men call you ‘Forsaken,
or your land ‘Desolate,’
but you shall be called ‘My delight,’

Isaiah 65, 66
Focus Verse: All these things My hand has made, and so all these things came to be, declares the Lord. But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at My word. - Isaiah 66:2
God, Who made all things, has need of nothing. No church built by human hands can contain the fullness of His glory.
Therefore, God does not look for a building to dwell in. He does not delight in a temple.
What He does delight in are women and men who are humble, who have contrite hearts, and who tremble at His Word. Those who are in such a spiritual state, are in tune with Heaven. They sincerely seek after holiness. They are true believers, who worship God in spirit and in truth.
Of such people, God will dwell in. They are His temple.
700 years before its fulfillment, the prophet Isaiah wrote of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This is one of the most important parts of the Bible for people to read often/have memorized, in my opinion. Not because its important doctrine or theology or good for answering questions about Christianity… but because it is God’s heart for YOU. for ME. And with so much swirling around us all the time - opinions, people we compare ourselves to, hurt from the past and hurt still to come… this verse is integral to our remembering who we are IN CHRIST.
[follows is Isaiah 43:1-4 in the MSG version]
“Don’t be afraid, I’ve redeemed you. I’ve called your name. You’re mine. When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you. When you’re in rough waters, You will not go down. When you’re between a rock and a hard place, it won’t be a dead end - because I am God, your personal God, the Holy of Israel, your Savior. I paid a huge price for you. That’s how much you mean to me! That’s how much I love you! I’d sell off the whole world to get you back, trade the create for you.”
It’s just amazing. He would trade all creation for US. that’s hardcore love.
Σε συνέχεια των πρωινών ποστ, και τα δύο άτομα στα οποία απαντώ μου στείλανε προσωπικό, αρκετά πιο ευγενικά και καλμαρισμένα (for real) και χαίρομαι. Παρόλα αυτά, επειδή πλησιάζει η 6η Δεκέμβρη και επειδή το tumblr θα γεμίσει από τους/τις/τα “εγώ δεν είμαι/είπα/έκανα ______________ αλλά ________”, πάμε ένα μπίνγκο απαντήσεων σε πιθανές ερωτήσεις/θέσεις:

- Για τη Μαρφίν δε λέτε τίποτα

- Όχι ψυχούλα μου, δεν είμαι Σύριζα. Ο Σύριζα κατάφερε μεγαλύτερο πλήγμα στα εργατικά και κινηματικά πεδία -αν θες τη γνώμη μου δηλαδή- από ότι κατάφερε η ΝΔ. Ακριβώς γιατί υπήρξε κόσμος που πίστευε ότι θα αλλάξει κάτι. ΜΑΤ και ΔΕΛΤΑ ακόμα εδώ είναι. Είχε κάποιες νίκες μικρές κοινοβουλευτικές περί δικαιωμάτων, αλλά και πάλι, μάπα το καρπούζι.
- Άρα είσαι ΚΚΕ.
- Νοπ, πάλι λάθος. Το γεγονός ότι δε θεωρώ ισάξιο το ολοκαύτωμα με τα γκούλαγκ και τον Χίτλερ με τον Στάλιν δε σημαίνει ότι είμαι Σταλινικός. Ούτε σημαίνει η ναζιστική Γερμανία είναι το μόνο καθεστώς τα τελευταία 15.000 χρόνια που έχει διαπράξει εγκλήματα. Παρόλα αυτά, δε θυμάμαι ποτέ το ΚΚΕ να βγαίνει νύχτα με μαχαίρια να σφάζει κόσμο.
- Άρα είσαι αναρχικός και μπαχαλάκιας;

- Α δε μιλάς τώρα ε;

- Και πάλι, δηλαδή εσύ θες να κάψει κάποιος το αμάξι του πατέρα σου και να μη μπορεί να πάει στη δουλειά του, ή το μαγαζί της μητέρας σου;
- Όχι, δε θέλω, δεν είναι άλλωστε αυτοσκοπός το να καεί κάποιο συγκεκριμένο κατάστημα εκτός κι αν.. υπάρχει λόγος. Πχ, λέω εγώ τώρα, το Χωριάτικο; Το ΣΚΑΙ; Κάποια..μήπως..Τράπεζα; Άλλωστε, νομοταγή πολίτη που απευθύνεις το ερώτημα, είναι και δικοί μου οι φόροι που καταναλώνονται για την επισκευή της δημόσιας περιουσίας. Οπότε να σου πω και κάτι, ας κάνουν με τις ζαρντινέρες του Μπακογιού ό,τι θέλουν, προς το παρόν ούτως ή άλλως μόνο κάτι ημιθανή φυτά έχουν μέσα.
- Καλά, και οι βανδαλισμοί με το σπρέι;
- Είμαι ΤΟΣΟ σίγουρος ότι υπήρχε αρχαίο τρολ που πήγαινε κάπου στην αρχαία αγορά της Αθήνας και σκάλιζε πουτσάκια στους αρχαίους ναούς. Μα τόσο σίγουρος. Έχουμε βρει μέχρι και ερωτικά μηνύματα σκαλισμένα. So..
- Ναι αλλά οι μπάτσοι είναι αδέρφια μας.
- Κι εμείς αδερφοκτόνοι.
