Steve and Lillith would often Vent to eachother as they have a close bond as not only ex co-workers but also very good friends.
Back in the days in the Emperor’s Coven Lillith would often whine about Eda, but Steve would end up convincing her to tell more light hearted stories of their adventures as kids.
Although Lillith chastised Eda for her brashness, she always found herself laughing. Steve helped her realize that she does truly appreciate her sister.
Also I think Steve might have genuinely defected back in Any Sport In A Storm. The last time we saw him before now was him reconsidering his life choices in that episode.
