You know how we keep wondering why Eda and Lilith both couldn’t get into the Emperor’s Coven?
Hunter said many times that new recruits get separated from friends and family. Eda and Lilith couldn’t join together because the Emperor’s Coven uses abuse tactics. They isolate their victims. Siblings can provide each other support, so they can’t join together.
honestly I don’t think lilith was ever meant to be placed in the coven and that’s why she was always doing desk work instead of what the other covenheads were doing. she wasn’t the clawthorne sister they wanted but the one that was leftover because eda threw the duel, she never met up with their standards and she never actually stood out to them unlike eda who was creative with her magic. it’s why she was so expendable while raine wasn’t. it’s because she wasn’t what the coven actually wanted but only had to make do with what they were given. she was abused and manipulated in an environment she hoped to get into for years as a teenager girl and she was never even meant to end up there in the first place. and now she’s just processing and healing from that as a grown woman after two decades of that isolation.
y’all think lilith’s relationship with Dell is strained just like it is with her mother
imagine lilith coming home with her mother then having to confess about the curse she gave her sister.. I’d really like to believe that he wasn’t as lenient as Gwen was about her being the one giving her sister a permanent curse because was physically affected by it (eye trauma) and also being the leading cause of the strain for a family… I know in that span of a month and 2 weeks they barely talked to eachother… because there’s no way that the emotional conflict fully was resolved
