In my time away, I’ve learned that I’m especially bad at following through with my personal goals without someone to hold me accountable. As such, I’m going to try sharing my major daily and/or weekly goals here as a means of holding myself accountable. As with everything, we’ll see if this sticks.
Today’s goals…
Spend 1 hour learning Python in the context of data science (Due to a major energy crash, I was unable to complete this)
Take a long walk (minimum 1 hour) and stay off social media the entire time (Completed at 11:30 am)
Spend 1 hour reading for pleasure (I’m in the middle of The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt and am really enjoying it so far) (Completed as of 7:15 pm)
Post an announcement for my employees reminding them to submit and revise their spring availability (Completed at 2:00 pm)
전 - Before / ago 후 - After / later/from now (in) ~에 is added as it is a time particle
저는 5 분 전에 출발했어요 - I left 5 minutes ago 저는 5 분 후에 출발할 거예요 - I’m leaving in 5 minutes from now
~기 is added to the verb stem when 전 is used after a verb ~은/ㄴ is added to the verb stem when 후 is used after a verb (은 is added if the verb stem ends in a consonant, ㄴ is added if the verb stem ends in a vowel)
직전에 - Just before 직후에 - Right after
저는 학교에 가기 전에 아침을 먹어요 - I eat breakfast before I go to school 비가 오기 전에 저는 갔어요 - I went before it rained 저는 수업 직전에 숙제를 했어요 - I did my homework just before class 영화를 본 후에 친구는 만날 거예요 - After the film I will meet my friend 그 책을 다 읽은 후에 저도 빌려 주세요 - Please lend me that book after you have finished reading it 저는 저녁을 직후에 텔레비전을 봐요 - I watch TV right after dinner

so you’re telling me i’ve been freaking out over my linguistics and chinese characters’ finals for over a month and the one exam i should’ve actually been afraid of was jAPANESE??? THE SAME JAPANESE WHOSE MIDTERM I NAILED LESS THAN A MONTH AND A HALF AGO???????
567 | Sunny days are here again~ This might be the last bar prep post I have saved in my drafts, since it’s been eight months since that particular nightmare ended for me. Hope all the 2021 law grads are enjoying their short break before the absolute chaos of bar prep begins!

Hi yes it’s been just over one full week since my college graduation and I don’t know what to do with myself??? I’m just sitting around waiting for my summer camp training, another week and a half away, and then I have to figure out what to do in the fall too??? 0/10 I want to go back to college already
Sat outside to do some work yesterday because it’s finally nice here! Today’s the last day of classes for the semester (though I have a dress rehearsal tomorrow and no classes today) and it feels like there’s a lot to get done
I’ve been putting things off because every time I turn something in it makes the fact that I’ll be graduating in just over a week more real and that’s very scary but everything’s due so it’s time to put in the work and get ready to be done!
