I dunno what the heck I just watched, but I like it! 

I’m excited to share with you all “GO SS BEYOND,” my personal tribute to the iconic saga of “Dragon Ball” and the legendary warrior, Son Goku aka Kakarot! I never grew up with DBZ, even though every other person I met would rave about it! I finally picked it up earlier this year, reading the manga up until Super and then watching the movies up to Broly. This piece is the result of being the newest fan of Akira Toriyama’s genius, craft, and legacy! To me, Goku represents the epitome of self-transformation, inner strength, and the infinite strive to become your best self. Hope you enjoy this!✌️

So the trailer confirms it’s a total retcon, which means I’ll stop my kvetching. They now have the freedom to make Broly a cool, intriguing character like he never was before, and I hope they pull it off. I’m officially excited for the film.
