A/N: I haven’t watched Supernatural in at least two years, so I’M SORRY. I literally felt as if I was learning how to ride a bike or something like that cuz this is no longer me. :( So I hope it doesn’t suck that much. I’m sorry for ripping that request apart. I really tried my best.

Enjoy, I guess.

The loud roar from the Impala followed by a short silence announced the return of the Winchesters to the bunker. They had been out on a witch hunt that had apparently succeeded and know it was their time to rest – that is only IF they decided to rest.

(Y/N) had anxiously waited for them to come back. Specifically, she had been waiting for Sam.

She headed outside, not being able to wait for them to come inside, and ran straight towards Sam. He had been taking their bags out of the trunk when he got tackled by his girlfriend.

Without hesitation, (Y/N) puckered up and kissed him as if it had been years since she’d seen him – a habit she had acquired a long time ago. Sam, however, did not respond as she expected.

His lips remained still and his eyes widened. He held her tightly and pushed her away.

Dean followed quickly, holding (Y/N) softly from behind while Sam got up.

“I’m sorry,” he said. His puppy eyed mode was suddenly on.

“What?” (Y/N) panicked. “What is going on?”

Dean swallowed loudly and looked at (Y/N) for a second before looking directly to his brother. Sam hesitated, not knowing how to say what he meant to say.

“Oh my God, I knew it!” (Y/N) spoke. Her eyes were wide and full of shock.

“You do?” Sam asked, feeling a sudden relief. “Thank God, I thought this would be harder but if you know…”

“Yeah, it’s better that way,” Dean nodded and let go off (Y/N)’s arms.

“I should’ve known before, you don’t act like yourself and…” (Y/N) continued.

“Yes! I know!” Sam cheered, “See? I knew you would get it.”

Of course she got it. Sam hadn’t been the same ever since Castiel left. She didn’t think it would affect him as much as it would affect Dean, but truth was Sam did feel terribly after he left.

She had tried to be a good companion, she had tried to help Sam feel supported, she had really tried her best. Maybe it wasn’t enough.

The Winchesters always acted like that. If one friend left them, then they didn’t want any friend at all… Maybe Sam was feeling like she would leave too, just like Castiel, in spite of loving him.

She loved him. She really loved him and Sam was probably thinking she didn’t and so he was breaking up with her.

“Fine,” she said. Her head was now clear. “I… I tried my best, but I respect your choice.”

Sam suddenly looked even more confused.

“I will go and pack my stuff,” she said. “You are a good man, Sam,” she patted her shoulder and went back inside. Neither of the Winchesters followed her, they were gobsmacked and unable to even walk.

She went inside her shared room with Sam, refusing to shed a single tear in front of them, and took out her backpack from the closet.

How could she pack so many memories in just one backpack? She had built her home next to Sam and now…

Sam and Dean stormed inside the room.

“It’s not what you think it is!” Dean yelled, calling (Y/N)’s attention.

“What?” (Y/N) shrugged.

“You think that I… That Sam is breaking up with you, right?” Dean stuttered.

“Well, obviously, because…”

“He’s not.” Dean interrupted and cleared his throat. “I’m not.”

“What?”

“(Y/N),” Sam spoke, “I’m not Sam.”

“What do you mean?” (Y/N) stepped back.

“I am,” Dean stated.

(Y/N) stared at them in shock and then burst in laughter.

“The witch we killed cursed us as she died…” Dean continued to explain, “so now I’m Sam and he’s Dean, but me Sam is he Dean and he Dean is me Sam…”

“So… I kissed Dean?” (Y/N) inquired.

“Yes.”

“Dean in Sam’s body?”

“Yes.”

“That’s just…” (Y/N) shrugged in disgust. “So we’re not breaking up?”

“No, I would never,” Dean (Sam) shook his head and gave her his best Dean dreamy eyes.

“Oh, thank God!” She threw herself once more into his arms… Except those were Dean’s arms, and sighed.

Sam, in Dean’s body, kissed her passionately while Dean, in Sam’s body, just stared in awe. He always wondered how he’d look like with (Y/N). Not that liked her, it was just for funsies.

(Y/N) pulled away.

“This is too weird…” She said, “We must fix this.”

Both brothers agreed.

One call and thirty minutes later, the Winchesters were all set. It was not a hard curse to cast, therefore not a hard curse to remove.

“So (Y/N),” Dean inquired during dinner, “who’s a better kisser: me or Sam?”

Characters:Reader, Dean, Sam, Ranger

Age:20

Warnings:None

Word Count: 1,506

Summary:With nothing to show from their week’s stay in Stanford after Jessica’s death, the Winchesters move on to Black Water Ridge in search of their father.

A/N: y’all the fact that they changed the name of the town from Blackbottle Ridge to Black Water Ridge has been so frustrating. The “‘Blackwater?’ “No, Blackbottle” dialogue I put in the last part of the pilot was a joke for myself because I could not keep the name straight and now they’re just going to change it on me?? Insane. Also, as always, all dialogue taken from the show will be in italics.

Sam woke up with a start, bolting upright in the passenger seat. Dean looked to him a few times, watching his movements as Sam tried to shake off whatever had scared him so.

You okay?” Dean asked.

Yeah, I’m fine,” Sam replied, brow furrowed as he played off his sudden waking. You looked to him from your spot in the back.

“Was it another nightmare?” you asked. Sam cleared his throat but, unsurprisingly, didn’t answer. They’d been happening so frequently since that night, but Sam refused to talk about them.

Wanna drive for a while?” Dean looked to his younger brother. Sam chuckled in response, shocked.

Dean, in your whole life, you’ve never once asked me that.”

“Yeah, me neither,” you agreed, leaning forward and resting your arms on the seat in front of you.

Just thought you might want to. Never mind,” Dean replied to Sam. “And, Y/N, you’re never driving Baby again after what happened.”

God, you crash a car into a house onetime,” you replied, sitting back in your seat. This seemed to lighten the mood enough to take Sam out of his head.

Look, guys, you’re worried about me. I get it and thank you, but I’m perfectly okay.” Dean only hummed in response. Quick to change the subject, Sam spoke again, grabbing the map as he did: “Alright, where are we?”

We are just outside of Grand Junction,” Dean replied. Sam looked over the map for a few minutes before taking a deep breath.

You know what? Maybe we shouldn’t have left Stanford so soon,” he mused. Dean shut his eyes for a moment, and you leaned forward again to look at Sam.

“Sam, we dug around there for a week. We came up with nothing. If you want to find the thing that killed Jessica-”

Gotta find Dad first,” he interrupted, finishing your thought.

Dad disappearing, and this thing showing up again after twenty years? It’s no coincidence. Dad’ll have answers. He’ll know what to do,” Dean reminded Sam. The same words he’d used to convince Sam to leave Stanford in the first place. Sam tried to change the subject again.

It’s weird, man. These coordinates he left us, this Black Water Ridge…” Sam trailed off, looking at the map again.

What about it?” Dean asked, glancing over at the map.

There’s nothing there. It’s just woods.” Sam lowered the map and looked out the windshield, confusion clear on his face. “Why’s he sending us to the middle of nowhere?”

——————-

You looked around the ranger station with Dean while the three of you waited for the ranger. Sam was at the terrain model of the woods, looking at the entirety of the area.

So, Black Water Ridge is pretty remote. It’s cut off by these canyons here—rough terrain, dense forest, abandoned silver and gold mines all over the place,” he explained to you and Dean. His words fell on deaf ears, however, as you and Dean were too preoccupied with looking at the pictures on the wall.

Dude, check out the size of this friggin’ bear,” Dean called the two of you over. You walked over with Sam and shrugged when you saw the bear.

“…and a dozen or more grizzlies in the area,” Sam concluded his summary of the area.

“I’ve seen bigger than that. I fought a werewolf twice that size a few months ago before I met back up with you and Dad in Des Moines. I could take that thing on no problem,” you scoffed. Dean smiled proudly, but Sam furrowed his brow. He knew how invested you were in this life, how much you’d always been, but he couldn’t help feeling a bit overprotective of his kid sister. You’d been out facing monstrous werewolves three times your size without any help during his absence?

It’s no nature hike, that’s for sure,” he said, shaking his head. The three of you were interrupted by the ranger’s entrance.

You three aren’t planning to go out near Black Water Ridge, by any chance?” he asked. The three of you turned to face him.

Oh, no, sir. We’re environmental-study majors from U.C. Boulder. Just working on a paper,” Sam answered. Dean fist-bumped the air.

Recycle, man,” he added.

Bull. You’re friends with that Hailey girl, right?” The Ranger moved to stand behind his desk. You stepped out from behind Sam and Dean, nodding.

Yes. Yes, we are, Ranger…Wilkinson,” you answered, leaning in slightly to make out the name on his badge. He set his coffee mug down.

Well, I will tell you exactly what I told her. Her brother filled out a backcountry permit saying he wouldn’t be back from Black Water until the 24th. So, it’s not exactly a missing persons now, is it?” Dean shook his head. “Tell that girl to quit worrying. I’m sure her brother’s just fine,” Ranger Wilkinson finished, stepping away from his desk again.

We will,” Dean stated with a nod. “Well, that Hailey girl’s quite a pistol, huh?” He chuckled.

That is putting it lightly,” the ranger replied with a shake of his head.

Actually, you know what would help is if I could show her a copy of that backcountry permit. You know, so she could see her brother’s return date,” Dean suggested. Ranger Wilkinson looked down for a moment then nodded.

——-

Yeah!”Dean laughed victoriously as he led you and Sam to the back of the car.

What? Are you cruising to hookup or something?” you asked. Dean looked to you.

What do you mean?”

“The coordinates point to Black Water Ridge. So, what are we waiting for?”

She’s right, Dean,” Sam agreed. “Let’s just go find Dad. I mean, why even talk to this girl?”

“I don’t know. Maybe we should know what we’re walking into before we actually walk into it,” Dean shot back defensively. He looked between you and Sam and shook his head.

What?”Sam asked, clearly annoyed at this point.

Since when are you two all ‘shoot first, ask questions later?’ anyway?”

“Since now,” Sam quipped, getting into the car with a slam of the door. Dean turned to you before you could follow suit.

“You know, you’re the one who said we were friends with this girl. Now you’re mad it got us some information?”

“Yeah, the wrong information. How was I supposed to know that girl wasn’t a victim going in?” you sighed. “If Dad’s here in those woods, he could fill us in on what we need to know. Making all these other stops, interviewing people Dad probably already got to…it’s just more time spent not looking for him.” With that, you slid into the backseat before Dean could answer.

———-

You opted out of going to the girl’s house, choosing instead to stay back and do some more research of your own. If you weren’t going right into the woods, you might as well look further into all this while you could. Besides, Hailey didn’t need two strangers at her door during all this, let alone three. However, this left you up to analyzing the video Dean and Sam collected while at her house. You met back up with Dean and Sam at a local dive-bar to share your findings.

So, Black Water Ridge doesn’t get a lot of traffic. Local campers mostly, but, still, this past April, two hikers went missing out there. They were never found,” you recanted, searching through the papers on the table before you.

Any before that?” Dean asked.

Yeah.”You finally found the old newspaper you’d printed and laid it on the table in front of your brothers. While they read, you got the laptop from the bag and turned it on. “In 1982, eight different people all vanished in the same year. Authorities said it was a grizzly attack. And, again, in 1959, and before that in 1936. Every 23 years, just like clockwork.

“Okay, watch this. Here’s the cincher. I downloaded the video Sam sent over. Watch this.” You spun the laptop to face them. “Here’s the clincher.  I downloaded the video Sam sent me. Watch this.” You pressed a key, playing a few frames of the footage. Sam and Dean leaned in closer to the laptop.

Do it again,” Dean said. You complied, rewinding the tape then playing those three frames again.

That’s three frames. It’s a fraction of a second. Whatever that thing is, it can move.” Sam’s eyes stayed locked on the screen as he spoke, reaching forward to play the clips once more. Dean hit Sam’s arm triumphantly.

“I told you something weird was going on here,” he said. You shook your head, shutting the laptop.

Yeah, I got one more thing. In’59, one camper survived the supposed grizzly attack. Just a kid—barely crawled out of the woods alive.” You passed your last paper across the table for them to look over. Dean grabbed it first, and Sam looked on over his shoulder.

Is there a name?” Dean asked.

Feedback fuels me!

You glanced at Benny as he drove toward the bar. “You’re sure they’ll like me?”

“Stop worrying, Y/N,” Benny replied, glancing at you. “They’ll love you and you’ll love them. Especially the girls.”

“…not so sure about that last part,” you muttered. You had always had a hard time making friends who were female. You tended to have more male friends, which made it harder for girls to accept you.

Your friend just laughed, his smile growing. “Let me explain it to you, sugar. You and the girls you’re meeting tonight could form a ‘girls who have a hard time making girl friends’ club.”

Frowning in confusion, you looked to him. “What?”

Benny just chuckled, pulling into the parking lot of a bar, which was called The Lazy Bear. Giggling at the name and sign for the bar, you got out of the car with Benny, both of you heading inside.

The second the door closed behind you two, a large group called, “Benny!”

His smile grew, and he lead you towards the group. You glanced over the people as he hugged most of them. “We thought you wouldn’t show,” a man with green eyes and strong jaw commented.

“You know I wouldn’t bail,” Benny replied, before pulling you closer. “But first, everyone- this is my old pal Y/N.”

You waved, giving them a nervous smile. “Hi.”

“Introductions for you,” Benny said, putting an arm around your shoulder. He pointed to people as he spoke. “Balthazar and his brother Gabriel. Then Castiel, their brother too. Chuck is an old friend of their family’s.” The four men waved, smiling as Benny continued. “Then we have Jo, Charlie and Eileen. And last but not least, Dean and Sam.”

You nodded, smiling as you glanced around the group. “Welcome!” Chuck cried.

“How long have you known Benny?” Dean asked.

“Years,” you replied, sitting with Benny. “We met in college, and he’s been stuck with me ever since.”

Benny laughed, shaking his head. “Other way around, darlin’.”

“So did you have classes in common, or major?” Sam asked, sipping his beer.

“Major and classes,” you stated.

“Y/N’s an English teacher,” Benny added.

You jumped slightly as the whole tables gasped. “You are?!” Jo cried.

“Umm…yes, why?” you asked, glancing at them all.

“One of our old English teacher’s quit, like today,” Charlie stated.

“Bobby will be desperate to find a replacement since we’re so close to the school year too,” Balthazar commented.

Benny nudged you, smirking. “See? Told you visiting was a good idea. We’ll get you that job in no time.”

You couldn’t help but smile, already liking that idea.

The night passed, all of you eating and some drinking as well. You had sipped a few beers, Benny saying he would drive back.

“So, you really want that job?” Charlie asked, leaning towards you.

“Yeah, I do. I…I really need to move, start fresh,” you replied.”This job and city would do that.”

“God, please move here,” Jo stated. “We need more girl power.”

You giggled, replying, “I think I can help with that.”

“Sometimes guys are great, but other times they’re awful,” Eileen commented.

“I’ll drink to that!” Jo cried, holding up her beer. You all laughed, tapping glasses before drinking.

“Y/N’s a great fit,” Sam commented, glancing at Benny.

“Knew she would be,” Benny replied. “And…she needs this.”

Dean and Sam furrowed their eyebrows, glancing at Benny. “She does?” Dean asked.

Benny sighed softly. “Let’s just say…you know how she feels more than anyone right now, Dean.”

Dean let out a breath, glancing at the laughing and smiling Y/N. “She…does?”

Benny nodded, shaking his head. “Finalized three days ago.”

Sam shook his head, drinking as Dean kept his eyes on Y/N.

Dean was different from the group in the bar in one way- he had been married. Had been.

First year of college, Dean had proposed to is highschool sweetheart Lisa. They had gotten married during the next summer, Lisa then finding out she was pregnant right as Dean’s second year of college started.

But that had been ages ago. Dean had found out when he had started coaching at the school that…their son wasn’t his. Dean wasn’t the father. So, Dean had asked for a divorce. Lisa fought it, but only for a short time.

Dean hadn’t seen Lisa or Ben in almost a year, since Lisa had started dating Ben’s biological father.

Dean tried to move on, focus on work and his students. And that worked, for the most part. But sometimes…Dean thought about them, about what could have been different. Not tonight though, no. Dean was content with his friends, and his life.

At this very moment though, Dean was worried about Y/N. “Are you sure she’s okay?” Dean muttered, glancing at Benny.

“Here, yeah, she is,” Benny replied. “New town, old friend…and new ones.”

Dean slowly nodded, taking a deep breath. “That’ll help for sure.” He paused then before his smile grew. “We need to get her that job then.”

Benny laughed in reply. “Yes we do, yes we do.”

Y/N smiled, glancing over at Benny as he drove back to his place. “I really liked your friends tonight.”

Benny smiled, glancing over at her. “I told you that you would.”

“And you were right,” she agreed, looking out the window. “…They were all like…the kind that…I almost miss, ya know?”

Benny furrowed his eyebrows, glancing at his friend. “Miss? Whatta ya mean?”

“They were like, like, the kind of friends we had in college!” she cried, looking over at him. “My old friends, like, back there…they, they weren’t real friends, not like your friends…It was all fake and-and, they never reeeaallly cared about me…you know? But your friends tonight, they…they cared, you know? Like…like if you were ever in trouble, or, or needed help, they would all come!” Y/N looked back out the window, sighing. “When-when Brad and I split before the divorce, all…of them, you know…didn’t even ask if I was okay…Just like, avoided me.”

Benny sighed, not stopping Y/N’s drunk ranting. He had a feeling when she had come to visit that if she had gotten drunk, she would…start ranting, like now. And Benny knew she needed to get it all out.

“They all avoided me!” Y/N cried, throwing her head back. “Even, even your friends tonight! Um…Jo, and-and Charlie, and Eileen, they cared more than my stupid neighbors! I…I just want friends again…”

Benny parked in front of his apartment, looking over the Y/N. “You really liked them today? My friends?”

Y/N nodded, smiling. “They were all sooo nice…and like…I wanted to stay there longer! Get to know them more, and- and, be their friend!”

Benny chuckled. “Well, don’t worry, I think you’re already considered a friend.”

“Really?!” Y/N beamed, sitting up.

Benny nodded, his smile softening. “Yeah. And, I mean…tomorrow we can go look for an apartment for you. So you can stay, with your new friends.”

Y/N giggled, leaning over and resting her head on his shoulder. “I’d like that. An apartment right by my old friend and new ones!” Breaking out into giggles, Benny couldn’t help but shake his head.

“Come on, sugar,” he commented softly. “Let’s go get some rest.”

Y/N hummed, nodding. “Rest sounds good…”

Benny shook his head, knowing he would need to carry her inside most likely. It reminded him of the old college days, but in a good way. It had been years since he had seen her this relaxed, let alone drunk. It was a good sign, he hoped.

Like this? Love it? Let me know!

Part 2!- Dean and Y/N are back from hell, trying to figure everything out

Part 1

Dean helped Bobby track down Sam, as you tried to get caught up on what you had missed over the months you were down below. Finally, Dean and Bobby had found him and had made the decision to leave bright and early in the morning. “Y/N.” Bobby caught your attention and you turned to look at him. “Get some rest tonight, kid. Okay?”

“I will, Bobby. See you in the morning.” With a sad smirk he went to his room and left you and Dean in the living room.

“You okay?”

You nodded. “Are you?”

“I don’t know. Physically, I’m great. But all I can think about is what happened, how we got back, and what Sam did to get us here.”

“I know,” you knew what he was going through all too well. “Just try not to kill him before we get to say ‘Hi.’”

He nodded, looking down at his feet. “I don’t think we should tell Sammy that we remember.”

“Of course not,” you agreed. “He doesn’t need to know what went on down there, Dean. He doesn’t need to live with knowing what hell is like and he definitely doesn’t need the mental image of us in his head.”

“Y/N-”

“Stop,” you raised a hand. “You have nothing to apologize for, Dean. We’ve been through this how many times while we were down there? I asked to be with you. I asked you to do what you did, and I don’t regret it. I never will. So don’t apologize.”

He nodded to himself before standing up and heading towards the stairs. “Let’s get some shut eye before the drive tomorrow.”

******

The three of you walked the halls of the run down motel until you got to the end of the hall. Dean knocked and was shocked to be greeted by a pantless woman. “Well…where is it?”

“What?”

“The pizza?”

“Sorry, I think we have the wrong room.” Just as Dean finished speaking, Sam walked into the room and looked hard at you and Dean. After excusing the woman out of the room, you, Dean, and Bobby walked in.

Just like you predicted, Sam tried to get the jump on Dean before Bobby could step in. “It’s him, Sam. It’s really him. I checked.”

After hugging his brother for a long time, Sam let him go and pulled you in for a bear hug. “You guys are both back? How?”

“You tell us, bone head. What did you do,” you questioned him?”

“Me? I didn’t do anything.”

“Don’t give me that,” Dean growled.

“It’s true! I tried everything. I tried spells, summonings, I tried to sell my soul but nothing worked. No demon would take it.”

“If you didn’t get us out….then what did?” The guys all looked at you with no ideas between them.

Based on a prompt I saw on Pinterest. Based between season 3 and 4.

Intense pain.

That was the last thing you registered as your life was taken from you by the demons who jumped you. It was also the first thing you registered as you woke up. You were surrounded by uncomfortable fiery heat that made your skin burn slowly. You were in hell, you knew that much; but you didn’t know why.

You looked at the demon that walked into the room. You got ready to fight but realized you were chains against the stone wall. “What do you want you soulless bitch?”

“Such a mouth on you,” they sneered. “I like it.”

“Why am I here? I lived a good life. I protected the innocent, I don’t deserve to be here.”

“I thought you and Sammy were supposed to be the smart ones.” You weren’t following. “You’re not being punished. You’re the punishment.” Your heart sank. “Killing you and dragging you down here was very challenging. We had to pull a lot of strings and distract a lot of reapers and spirit guides. But when I bring Dean in here,” the demon took a long happy and relaxed breath. “Oh, I’m getting goosebumps just thinking about it.”

“Leave him out of this.” It’s only been four weeks since his death, but you couldn’t imagine what they’d put him through in that time. Now they’d stooped so low as to kill you to exact revenge on him.

“It’s too late for that sweet Y/N.” She looked over her shoulder and yelled, “Bring him in.”

Escorted by two other black eyed meat suits, Dean walked tensely into the room. The second his eyes landed on you his eyes snapped back to the demon. “You bitch, you’ve gone too far. I’ve had enough of your damn tricks.”

“Not a trick, Dean-O. Go ahead, look at her face and tell me if you see a demon in disguise.”

Frantically and nervously he looked back to you. When he realized your face was indeed your face he neared you and raised a shaking hand to your cheek. “Y/N?” His voice broke, “What are you doing here?”

“We ran out of ice cream,” you sadly smiled. He knew you always had to have ice cream wherever you were. “I went to the store and they jumped me. About 8 of them and….now I’m here.”

“You’re not supposed to be here.”

“But she is, Dean. And you know what that means.”

“Shove it. I’m not doing anything. Not to Y/N.”

“What’s he talking about, Dean?”

The demon grinned. “Why don’t I give you a little time to talk things over. You can tell her everything you’ve been up to.” As soon as the door shut Dean tried to get your cuffs off with no results.

“You shouldn’t be here, Y/N. This is all my fault. I’m so sorry.”

“Dean.” You stopped him. “Stop and look at me. Just let me look at you.” Reluctantly he listened. “I missed you so much.”

“You’re all I think about down here, Baby. How long has it been? You haven’t aged a day.”

Concern for him hit you harder. “Dean. It’s only been a month.”

“What? Just a month?”

“How long has it been down here?” You weren’t sure you wanted to know the answer.

“Ten years. That’s how long it’s been down here. They have me doing awful things, Y/N. You need to hear it from me before they tell you.”

“Like what?”

“They have me torturing souls. I- I didn’t want to. But it was me or them, Y/N and the things they were doing to me were 10 times worse than what I did to them. It’s the only way,” he was speaking frantically.

“Dean,” you snapped him out of it. You were cut off by the door opening and the demon walking back in. “Are you ready Dean?”

“Ready for what?”

“To work on your little girlfriend.” The henchman wheeled in a cart of knife and instruments of pain.

“Go to hell.”

“I’m already there, Baby. Here are your options, Dean. You do your turkey carving on your little girlfriend here, or I’ll send you pack to the pit and I’ll send her to our best torturer. Well, 2nd best now.”

“I’m not touch-”

“He will do it,” you spoke for him.

“Y/N, no.”

“Listen to me. I’m not letting you go back there. And I’d rather spend eternity in hell with you in pain, then not seeing you at all. This is the best thing for both of us, Dean. Please. I can take it.”

******

You woke up in a small dark box, weak and struggling to breath. You attempted to break your way out of the box but were too tired to bust it open. Just as the will left your body the sunlight broke through and Dean’s face greeted you from the other side. “Y/N? Are you ok? I heard you trying to get out.”

“Dean? Wh-what is this?” He pulled you out of the hole and you saw the crosses that marked what you assumed were your graves. “Are we-”

“Alive. Yeah, I think so. We have to find Sammy. If he did something dumb, I’ll kill him.” You leaned on him for support as you walked your way to civilization.”

******

Bobby watched you from across the room. You sat looking out the window with a blanket wrapped around your body as tight as possible. Your blank stare had been aimed out of the window for hours. “What happened down there, Dean?”

“Bobby…,” he trailed. His voice shook and tears pricked his eyes as he looked at you and looked at his feet. “They made me do things to her. It was decades. They made me to things; things that I worried would happen to her when I was alive. They made me do those things to her down there. Y/N insisted I be the one to do it, so we could at least be in hell together. She kept saying she was alright, that she could take it, Bobby. But every time a drop of blood spilled from her a part of my soul died. I don’t know how she can look at me after everything I did. I don’t know how after every session she still managed to smile and tell me she loved me, but she did. And I’m so scared that now that we are back she’s going to look at me and realize I’m the monster that ruined her down there.”

Bobby’s heart broke looking at you and hearing what had happened to you both in those four months on Earth. “Son,” he struggled to find the word. “You two are back now, and that’s what matters. We’re going to find Sam, and we are going to get to the bottom of this.”

Hi sorry to bother you! But I was wondering if you could maybe do like a winchester x sister reader or just an x reader imagine based on them having type 1 diabetes as you never really see much of them around tumblr or other fanfic websites? You really don’t have to its just that I really like your imagines?

AN: I went purely off of what information I could find on the information so don’t hate me too much if it’s inaccurate.

You got back in the car and buckled up. “Finally ready to hit the road?”

“Stop being dramatic, Dean. Sorry I require a bathroom and can’t pee in a bottle like you two numb skulls.”

“Hey,” Sam exclaimed!

“Sorry Sam, but it had to be said.”

“It’s just you take so much time out of our drives with your bathroom breaks, woman!”

“One, unless you want to get me a funnel to pee in back here and risk your precious interior, there’s nothing you can do. And two, you know I can’t help it.”

Having type 1 diabetes, you were prone to having to use the bathroom. With how thirsty you had been today you were surprised you were doing as good as you were. Three hours later you three were in the motel sharpening your weapons for the night. “Y/N, you need to eat before we leave. Be sure to take your insulin too.”

“Can’t have you losing your vision or anything in the middle of this hunt,” Dean added.

“Thanks Moms.”

“Not your Mom, we’re your brothers and it’s our job to keep you alive and as healthy as possible in this freaking line of work,” your oldest brother grumbled.

“Which I thank you for, but I’ve been managing this for years. I think you guys forget sometimes that I know how to take care of myself.”

“We don’t forget. We just…help,” Sam shrugged.

******

You drug your feet into the motel room and slumped onto the bed. “You alright, kiddo? Didn’t get clipped or anything did you?”

“No, I’m just tired.”

“Did you take insulin before the hunt? Do you need more,” Sam feverishly asked?

“I’m fine, I checked everything before and after the hunt. I’m just tired. That happens when you only get 4 hours of sleep for two days.”

“You get first dibs on the shower then,” Dean told you. “Clean up and get a good night’s sleep before tomorrow.”

Dean never offered up first dibs on the shower. He was always hogging the hot water, so you jumped at the chance. “Don’t have to tell me twice.”

You had just closed and locked the door when you heard Dean yell. “Hey, wait a minute. Did you just play the pity card?”

“She’s too smart for you, Dean.”

“Shut up, Sammy.”

AN: Writing Prompt : “He stared at the bodies on the ground, at the girl covered in blood. “You’re late,” she said.””

Dean and Sam had their guns drawn as they stalked through the house. With the main floor clear, they descended the stairs. As the landed on the ground, they heard a thud coming from the left. They rounded the basement corner and raised their guns, ready to fire as they entered.

Dean entered and stared at the bodies on the ground, at the girl covered in blood. She narrowed her eyes and stood up. “You’re late.” She took the machetes in her hand and wiped them on her already bloody pants.

He and Sam scanned the bodies and counted the six that laid dead on the ground. “You took on all six yourself?” Sam said awestruck.

“No, I had my fairy godmother cover my back,” you exhaustedly replied.

“I told you to wait until we got here,” Dean sulked.

“Well I thought you were going to be here two hours ago. Sunset came and you never showed. I couldn’t let them move on and risk them killing more while we tracked them from scratch.”

“Y/N,” he said sternly.

“Don’t give me that, Dean. Obviously,” you gestured to the bodies around you, “I can hold my own. Come on, I need a shower. And I need to burn these clothes.”

******

After being in the shower for what must have been an hour, you emerged without crusted blood covering you. After all the scrubbing you were sure you were without skin as well. When you entered the shared motel room you saw Dean sitting with a scowl on the bed. You took in his anxious state and walked towards your bag. “Where’s Sam?”

“Went out for food.”

“What’s the matter?”

“Nothing.” He tried to relax and sat back on the bed.

“Dean, I’ve known you long enough to know when you’re lying. What’s going on?”

“You went into that nest by yourself, Y/N.”

“Yeah, that’s my job.”

“You know what I mean,” he scowled.

“Dean, I know you worry, but you need to learn to relax. I’m a big girl. I was doing this long before you and I were together. I made a call, I did my job, I killed the bad guys. I’m fine, see?” You took his hand and placed it over your bare heart. “See? It’s beating. I’m all good.”

“I just don’t like you taking cases by yourself or going in alone. It makes me worried.”

“I appreciate it, babe, I do. But don’t let yourself get so worried that it makes you miserable.” You kissed his cheek. “That’s my job.”

Can I send in a request for Dean Winchester? The reader is dating him and is close to Sam. While driving to the next location, the reader and Dean get into an argument just as they started having car trouble, forcing them to pull over. She voluntarily went to see what the problem was and it was a flat tire. Because it was dark out, neither of them didn’t see the oncoming car ahead just as she was about inform them what the problem was. Out of the blue, Sam and Dean witness her getting hit by the car. She was critically injured and it left her in a coma. Dean was upset because of the last thing he had said to her wasn’t nice. When she wakes, she wakes to Dean saying her name and begging her to wake up. (You can take the rest of it from there! ) Thanks!!! :)

“You can have the front, Sam.” Although the words looked like a kind gesture on paper, the tone in your voice told him it was more of a command than anything. After the scuffle you and Dean had gotten in during this case, he knew you were eager to get as far away from his brother as you could for a while; even if that meant just being in the back seat.

“Thanks. Hey, you sure you’re alright?”

“Just peachy, Sammy,” after all this time together you were the only person other than Dean allowed to call him that. You slid in the backseat and waited for the two of them to get in the car. As your boyfriend slid behind the wheel, you looked out the window. And you kept looking at the entire drive.

The tension in the car was so thick that you could cut it with a knife and it was stemming from you and Dean. You had managed to shut out the music and their talking the whole drive, but your ears perked up when you heard Dean say, “since someone was lucky with their shot.”

That sent you over the edge.

“If you have a problem then say it to my face, Winchester.” Sam had never heard you talk to his brother like that. In fact, you’d only ever called him Winchester when you two were play fighting. This was a whole new territory and none of you knew how to handle it.

“Yeah, you know what? I do have a problem. I told you the plan and you ignored it outright. And where did that lead us to? Sam, gun to his head. And you, just missing him in your shot.”

“I told you I didn’t like that plan and you ignored me, outright. And when the plan started to go south and I made a move, and move that put us on the right track,” you yelled, “you didn’t like it because I didn’t stick with your failing plan.” You stressed ‘failing.’

“Whose plan was it that got Sammy in that position, Dean? Oh right, yours. And who was the one that saved his life? Oh right, me! I’m a damn good shot and you know it. I wouldn’t have taken that shot unless I was 100% sure I’d make it. And for you to sit there and act like I took that shot recklessly and put Sam at risk…,” you huffed in anger. Just as you both were about to yell out more in unison you all jolted as Baby collapsed down on the front driver wheel.

“Just great,” Dean swore.

“Allow me,” you said theatrically. “I better make myself useful since I’m such a damn inconvenience.” You got out and slammed the door.

“Watch the door,” Dean yelled.

“Sorry, Your Majesty,” you bowed. You got out and saw the tire as flat as can be. “Look at that, I can do one thing right. It is flat; pop the hood,” you demanded. As you took a step back from the road, none of you heard the car coming, whose lights were off in the middle of the night. Before you could react everything was black.

******

Dean sat on the side of your bed with red eyes and dark bags under them. Since you had been admitted and allowed visitors, he hadn’t left your side. “Dean,” Sam called to him. “Why don’t you go to the motel? Sleep in a bed for once, get some rest, I’ll stay here with Y/N.”

“No,” he said sternly. “I have to stay here. I have to be here when she wakes up.”

“Dean, she’s been out for 2 months. Leaving her side for a few hours isn’t going to kil-,” he trailed.

“Do what, Sammy? It’s not going to kill me? No, but the one time I leave she might,” he choked. “If I’m not here when she wakes up or…or whatever she might do, I’d never forgive myself. I’m the reason she’s like this.”

“Dean-”

“No! It’s true dammit. I’m the reason we got in that stupid fight. I’m the reason she couldn’t stand to be in that car. I’m the reason she went out to change the tire, and I’m the reason she got hit by that car and is laying in a coma. If it wasn’t for me she wouldn’t be like this.”

“Dean, it was an accident. You didn’t mean it for it all to happen. You didn’t know. That guy had his lights off in the middle of the night and was driving drunk. There’s nothing you could have done.”

“I could have listened to her. I could have listened and apologized and…”

“I’m going to go get us some coffee.”

******

2 more weeks had passed and Dean stayed by your side. Sam had run out for a non-hospital cafeteria food meal. He took the time alone with you and grabbed onto your hand with his. He squeezed your small hand tightly and couldn’t help the tears that trickled down his face. “Y/N, please, you’ve got to hear me in there. I need you to wake up, Baby. I need you to wake up. I can’t live with myself if you don’t come back to me, Y/N. I need you here with me.”

“You going soft on me, Winchester?” Your raspy voice jolted his head up.

“Y/N?”

“How am I alive Dean?” Fear crossed your face. “What did you do?”

“Nothing, actually,” he chuckled. “I tried two demons and they wouldn’t even make a deal with me.”

“So I’m just…alive?”

“And I’m so so happy.” You lifted your hand and caressed the tears on his cheeks. “So freakin’ happy.”

Just an FYI: I am behind on like the last two seasons on supernatural just from life being crazy and not being able to sit and really watch it so please make sure you don’t send any major spoilers for this last season. Unfortunately I stumbled across one on my dash, and I tried to ignore it, but then I got some requests that solidified it NBD, but due to them being “spoilers” for some and since I’m not caught up, I’ll be postponing writing those prompts until I get caught up to best write the storyline. I hope y’all can understand!! In the meantime, please send in requests! I am rewatching supernatural over my vacation and would love to write more!! Thanks

Can you do one for dean Winchester x reader ?

Season 1 Were dean goes to sam’s for help and on a bad hunt dean gets hurt and he only wants help from his secret girlfriend ( reader ) and he calls her and on the hotel she helps him and when she’s done dean kisses her and tells her that he miss her so much and sked her to stay for good and Sam is confused so dean tells him what they go to another hunt dean makes Sam seat in the back so reader can seat in the front with him and he sees them cuddle and kiss and his happy of them. Or it can be one we’re Sam donst trust the reader and dean gets mad. And can it be long? ❤️❤️

Sam clung onto Dean as he struggled to carry him back out of the woods. After the wendigo had gotten ahold of them, Sam and Dean were worse for wear. Dean was cut up badly and was hanging on to consciousness. As Sam got him in the car he threw him his phone. “Call Y/N.”

“Who? I think you’re losing it, Dean.”

“Call, Y/N. Speed dial number 1.” That was the last thing he said before he fell asleep in the back of Baby.

Sam dialed the number and hit the gas, heading back to the motel. “Hey Dean.”

“Uhh, Y/N? This is Sam, Dean’s brother.”

“Sam? Where’s Dean? What’s wrong?”

“He, uh, got hurt real bad. He’s passed out in the back of the car.”

“Are you still in Colorado?” He heard you running around wherever you were, getting things in order.”

“Yes.”

“I’ll be there in four hours….three if I try hard enough.” You hung up and jumped in the car. Sam drove back to the motel and got to work on Dean.

Three and a half hours later there was a knock at the door. Sam pulled it open a crack to see you standing eagerly on the other side. “Sam?”

He nodded and let you in. “I take it you’re Y/N.”

“I am. How is he?” You looked him over as you pulled stuff out of your bag.

“He’s alright. He’s been out the whole time. He’s running a fever now.”

“Fighting off infection,” you noted. “Can you get me a bowl of warm water?”

He did so and sat it on the nightstand beside you. “And….uh….how do you know my brother?”

You chuckled. “I’m his girlfriend.”

“You’re wha- I’m sorry, he didn’t tell me.”

“It’s ok.” You got to work and started cleaning the dirt from him. “He likes to keep to himself, especially in this line of work. He didn’t want to tell you after what happened after he picked you up,” you admitted.

“Really? He should have told me.”

“You were…are going through a hard time with what happened to Jessica, Sam. He was afraid that telling you would make it harder for you.”

“I just want him to be happy. I’m glad he’s not as much like Dad as he seems.”

You laughed. “You and I both.” You kept cleaning him up and when you had replaced the water five times, he seemed to finally be cleaned up. You got to work on re-cleaning his wounds, stitched the larger ones, and redressed the smaller ones. “He cares about you, you know,” you told him. “He might not admit it, since he’s more like John than he wanted to admit, but he does care for you.”

Sam nodded his head, unsure what to say. “How long had you two been together?” The two of you got to know each other and spoke the rest the rest of the night, until you fell asleep on the bed next to Dean.

“Hey,” you woke up to Dean’s deep sleepy voice in your ear.

You were up quickly and sat up to check on him. “Hey, how are you feeling?” You felt his head. “Your fever broke. That’s good.”

“I feel like I got thrown into a tree. You came?”

“Of course. I knew it was bad when I answered the phone and heard Sam on the other end. Don’t ever scare me like that again, Dean Winchester.”

“Yes ma’am.”

“I mean it. How am I supposed to let you and your brother run off without me, when I never know if I’m going to get a call like this?”

“Why don’t you come with us then?”

“What?”

“Well, Sammy knows about you now, and he doesn’t seem mad. I can tell when he’s mad because he sleeps with a frown on his face.”

“He took it very well. He was very happy for you.”

“Then come with us. It’ll make me feel better knowing you’re safe on your hunts too.”

“Alright.”

“Alright?”

“Alright. But we’ve got to store my car somewhere.”

“I know a place,” he smiled and pulled you close to him as you both went to sleep.

When you woke back up Sam was backing his bag. “I’ve got us another case if you’re up for it.”

“I’m feeling like a million bucks thanks to my nurse.”

“You still need to rest, Dean. At least until we get to the next place.”

“Fine, you can drive then.”

“What?” Sam was shocked. “You’re letting her drive?”

“Well….yeah.” You picked up the keys and grinned.

“Jealous, Sam?” You winked.

You all loaded into the car and Sam watched you two from the back seat. He watched as Dean grabbed one of your hands as you drove. Then, as fatigue hit Dean again, you had him lay his head on your shoulder, and you reached up and rubbed his hair as he fell asleep. He had never seen his brother look so content.

Hello!! It’s been a while thanks to work and life, but it looks like I’m going to finally have time thanks to Thanksgiving break!

Intro: You’ve known the Winchesters for over a year now. You met them at your aunt Jody’s house one night when they showed up unexpectedly; that in turn led to them staying for dinner. You’ve had a crush on Dean ever since you first laid eyes on him. For the next few months, due to sly conversations with Jody and casual text messages between you and Dean, you managed to make sure that every time the Winchesters dropped in for dinner, you were there.

As time progressed, so did your feelings for Dean. Casual texts turned into late night - deep conversations and flirty behavior during dinners at Jody’s. Your feelings for each other were clear to everyone (including each other) but neither you nor Dean have worked up the courage to ask the other out on an actual date yet.

During one of the Winchesters’ recent hunts, Sam made a childish bet with Dean that if he lost, he’d have to ask you out at the next dinner. Of course, Dean accepted, thinking he’d win. He ended up losing the bet but didn’t view it as much of a loss since he was planning on asking you out anyways; he just wished it was on his own terms.

“Do it already!” Sam whispered close to Dean’s ear while nudging his arm. It was probably the 6th time tonight that he’s done that, distracting Dean from the good-humored banter going on at the dinner table. Dean cleared his throat and rolled his eyes, clearly fed up.

Intro: You and Dean have been dating for about a year now, but you’ve known each other for almost 3. You met him and his brother, Sam, when they helped rid you of a curse and saved your life. The two of you stayed in contact after that and occasionally went out on dates when Dean started showing his true feelings for you. After things got serious, and you involved yourself more and more into Dean’s world, you decided to travel on the road with him and his brother, while working from ‘home’ and helping them solve cases when need be.

”You sure this is the place?” Dean questioned Sam as the three of you entered a bar not too far from the bunker.

“Yeah. The bartender I spoke to earlier is right over there.” Sam was pointing out the girl behind the bar. “She said her friend should be working today and could tell us some more stuff involving this case. I think we’re looking for an Amy.”

Amy?” Dean said nervously. “Amy?” He asked again, waiting for some reassurance.

Intro: You have been hunting with the Winchesters for quite a while now. Probably ever since they helped you take out a vampire nest a couple months back. You’ve grown very fond of the boys’ presence since then and love spending so much time with them. But recently, you’ve noticed that you’ve been falling hard for one of the Winchesters. More specifically, Sam Winchester. You’ve been falling more and more for him as each day passed and you’d find yourself fascinated by his every move. Damn… Let’s just say, you had it bad.

A beautiful waitress, about your age, gracefully walked over to the booth you and the boys had just sat down in. You were on one side, sitting between the window and Dean. Sam was sitting by himself, across from you two. The waitress (whose name is Molly, according to her name tag) was holding a pad of paper and a pen in her hands, prepared to take down your order. She took a minute to admire the attractive boys you were accompanied by and then glanced over at you. “Ladies first. What would you like, Hun?” She asked, almost too sweetly.
