I can’t stop thinking about this excellent fic by @astolat - especially Arcturus. He’s such a sweet and devious kid, and I got to wondering what he’d look like.
I went with a cold blue paint job for him here, but could also see Arcturus with a mostly black or silver color palette. How do you think he’d look?

Hey everyone! I just posted a new chapter of Song of the Starcrossed - a pre-war TFP MegOP fic that explores what Orion Pax and Megatronus were like before the whole planet went to heck. This update was a lot of fun to write - I hope you enjoy reading it!
All optics in the pavilion gawked at the sight of the champion gladiator who had materialized from the sky and was now drawing himself up to his full height in front of a smaller, red and blue plated bot.
He’s shorter than I expected, thought Megatronus. Amusement played across his faceplate as he watched the stunned archivist regain his composure. “Orion Pax, I presume.”
“Megatronus,” Orion broke into a delighted grin. “It’s so good to see you!”
“The pleasure is all mine.” Megatronus gave a little bow and made a gracious gesture with his arms. “Welcome to Kaon, my friend. Come - allow me to show you around.”
I *might* have taken a few creative liberties with this story compared to Irving’s ‘Exodus’ novel. (For example, OP visits Kaon three times in the fic rather than only once in 'Exodus’ - next update is the first visit)
Writing the character interactions is a lot of fun, and I hope I did them justice.
