when the weather was really bad, they were tired, scared and their will to live was close to zero, they all slept in one place on the ship on the floor, among blankets and pillows. it really helped them feel better and safer. the presence of another person, your friend, right next to you.. it was something they really needed.
coach hedge wasn’t happy about it. but when he saw how peacefully they were sleeping, he just couldn’t wake them up.
