Hunchback of Notre Dame with an intersex + trans Esmeralda and a nonbinary Phoebus, say whaaaat?!
It’s true! It might make us one of the first romantic lead trans couples (if not THE first) in musical theater in a non-LGBT+ / cis-centric theater!
The Renner Theater, Home of the Zane Trace Players, in Zanesville, OH 43701, is putting on The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Shows are March 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th at 8pm and 20th and 27th at 2:30pm.
