Whilst it stings a little, I don’t blame Emma for not feeling an emotional connection with Cordelia or James. It’s kind of like the equivalent of Emma feeling emotionally connected to that one relative who changed her diaper once when she was a newborn and then didn’t rock up again until she was 10, yk??
What we can find solace in, however, is that she felt emotionally connected to Alastair’s dagger, and by extension Alastair.
