SIX CHARACTERS: The Count
Look at that, I FINALLY finished ONE character for that drawing challenge thing. This gentleman is the Count from Gankutsuou, an anime sci fi(?) futuristic(???) adaptation of the Count of Monte Cristo, which was an absolutely fabulous suggestion by @allieeps. I haven’t watched or thought about this show in years and years. I remember that it was super interesting, had a great soundtrack, and looked unique because of the unusual way they used static patterns to colour areas. Super cool, I will have to dig out my old discs and give this a rewatch.

~Although this is one of the most dreaded cards in tarot, there is certainly much to be learned from it. Generally speaking, plenty of people (myself included) often associate the 3 of Swords with betrayalandbackstabbing.
~However, I have learned to appreciate this card. Through my experience with divination, I grew to realise it can also symbolise:
♦️Perseverance
♦️Determination
♦️Mental Strength
♦️Recovery

~According to the “rules” (more so guidelines) of tarot, the suit of Swords represent intellect and mentality. Often times, the Three of Swords is depicted as three swords plunged into a heart; which can be interpreted as a need to delve deep into the heart/centre of the task at hand in an objective manner.

Sometimes it is best to act with your brain instead of your heart . As difficult as it may be (especially for us water signs), it’s necessary to act logically instead of emotionally. ❣️
LOOK at this! Isn’t it gorgeous?? This is a beautiful tarot card commission from @flavoredmagpie of my Inquisitor Kestrel and his love, Dorian. The colors, the detail (see the peacock and kestrel feathers???), the EMOTION. It’s beautiful and wonderful and I’m so impressed.

The two of them go through so much T_T But it does have a HEA (at least it will once it’s finished - still a WIP)!
