This eclipse has the potential to reveal some profound, hidden truths, about ourselves, those close to us, and even about public figures and society at large, and bring them to the forefront of our attention. Question everything. Use this energy to look within and ask why. What is your intention at this time? Why? What are the intentions of those around you, and of our society, and why? Why have you been acting a certain way or making certain choices? Deep down, you know the answers. Learning about our motives gives us a better understanding of who we are, and therefore can give us a better understanding of those around us and our culture as a whole.
You may already know some deeper truths about our society, and because it is July 4th, try to use this energy to have an open discussion with others about the underlying causes, reasons, and motives behind why our country is the way it is. It’s time to take down the veil; it’s time to let the real truth be known by all. ⚖️
We’ve got the Six of Swords for the second day in a row with a different deck! I love the artwork in this card; I keep getting, “Float on by like a butterfly.” You don’t need to have a fully thought out plan to progress on your path. Life can get in the way of certain plans, so I feel it’s important for you to continue to go with the flow and adapt to any roadblocks you might come across. This Hierophant is making me feel like connecting with your ancestors, or asking for advice from any older family members may help you figure out what to move towards. There are stories of our ancestors written in the constellations; look to the stars to learn from these stories. Take everything you have learned from history and from older generations with you as you move forward toward the unknown

Six of Swords and The Lovers
The first thing I’m noticing here is that we have two 6’s. In numerology, 6 is the number of unconditional love, empathy, healing, and hope. Collectively, we are moving on from the past; past situations or people that no longer serve us; and past mindsets that don’t align with who we are now. Some of you may be getting closure on a past relationship, or have decided to choose yourself first over a person who’s just not good for the person you are now. You may also meet a new romantic interest because you have decided to move on from someone in your past. Whatever you’re moving on from, you’ve made the choice to because you know it’s what’s best for you. Even though we don’t know what’s coming next, we can be sure the future is brighter than our past
When I first started reading tarot I had all these reservations and newbie mistakes that I sometimes made for YEARS. Don’t be like me, learn how to read tarot, be confident and understand that the good comes with the bad. And you’ll be an expert tarot reader in no time.
Tarot is a tool for YOUR intuition - I don’t know why, but this really didn’t resonate with me right away. I would second guess, re-read, and not use my intuition when interpreting the cards. In the end that cause some really inaccurate readings then if I would have just used tarot as a tool to grow my own intuition and spiritual feeling.
Don’t stress read - I know I know we all do it. Madly shuffle the cards then start pulling whenever things start to go array. Let me be the first to tell you that is not an accurate reading. That is just you stressing out pulling cards in a fury that will only lead to more stress.
Take time to meditate and clear your mind beforehand - Don’t come into a reading with a cloudy head. If you really want to get a good read, spend a few minutes clearing your mind before you shuffle your deck.
There are no bad readings - I repeat, there are no bad readings. Even horrible tower falling outcomes are just the start to something new and better. If you do get an outcome from a tarot spread that is less than favorable breath and take it one day at a time.
There are also no bad tarot cards - Just like there are no bad readings, there are no bad cards. Endings are just beginnings in reverse. So even if your BFF is stabbing you in the back with the 5 of Swords, don’t worry it’s just your spirits getting rid of them for you.
Get to know your decks beforehand - Each deck sometimes has a little personality. Spend some time with them, know them, see how they read for you before you jump in with all the important stuff.
Meditate with cards you feel drawn towards - Do you really vibe with the High Priestess? Or maybe it’s The Hermit for you. These cards could be your archetype. Pull them out, meditate, feel their answers and seek guidance from them.
Take breaks from reading - I am a huge advocate from taking a break from tarot. Sometimes you need to change it up, put it down or just step away for a few days or a year. Whatever it is take time away if and whenever you feel the need to.
Use tarot as a tool for manifesting - Ask questions, lots and lots of questions about different outcomes. If you don’t like the outcome, change your question or change your mind and ask again. Once you get the desired results stick to it.
Don’t read for free, but practice - I see so many new tarot readers reading for free online. Don’t do it! Your time is precious and if someone wants a free reading, they can lean it themselves.
Don’t skip knowing your shadow self in a reading - One of the best things you can do is learn exactly who you are, and you can’t do that without knowing all the parts of yourself you’ve rejected. Use the tarot to get to know yourself in the shadows too.
The cards never lie - Never. Ever.
Reshuffling won’t bypass a reading you didn’t like - Don’t get yourself trapped into ‘clarity’ cards. That’s shuffling and asking the same question again and again for clarity, or until you get the answer to the question you want. Sure ask for clarity ONCE when you don’t really understand, but don’t ask again and again just to see what you want.
Don’t wait to start tarot - If you feel called to read tarot, start now! You don’t have to wait for someone to gift you a deck (who started that bad rumor anyway?!)
Confidence is key - This also took me a long time to ‘get’. Read with confidence. You are a badass witch. You have stepped outside to do so much spiritual growth, why would your card reading reflect any different?
Your tarot reading is not the end all be all - Tarot is subjective, not prophecy. So change your mind and change your future. Nothing is set in stone.
This weekend I was blessed, I got to go to Salem, Massachusetts the witch city capital of the world. My only friend who is a practicing witch @eclectic-earth and I stayed the historical Hawethorne Hotel.
I spent close to $300 . So worth every penny I got the Witchcraft Theory and Practice by Ly De Angeles, Angelite Pendant, Chalice, ENDLESS amounts or herbs, Protection oil, Archangel Gabriel Oil, and @eclectic-earth got a beautiful piece of moldavite.
Such a blessed weekend full of the energy I needed to feel. I love Salem it will always be my home.

Hmmm. I’ve been wanting to put this out there for a while. I don’t want to vulnerable people falling for this stuff anymore when it comes to the spiritual community on and offline. Too many “spiritualist” have been preying on people who are desperate and are in need of wanting people to tell them what they want to hear and unfortunately a lot of these scammers in the spiritual communities do that. When you’re seeking from someone for readings and spiritual advice, if you’re able to, look at their past history. You can even do this on Twitter by searching their names and keywords and just search. These readers have been outed previously for hexing their clients and also gatekeeping information because of underlying jealousy. One reader was also outed for binding people to them and creating fear in the process if someone didn’t follow their orders. Another one is extremely transphobic, homophobic, ableist, and many other things and give out information that could be detrimental to people if they don’t tread lightly. If you can, try not to get caught up in the big following because those people can be the most dangerous sometimes. If someone randomly DMs you about a reading they want to give to you, please don’t fall for it. Don’t allow people to have access to your ancestors and spirit guides when they don’t have permission to do so in the first place. Spirit won’t send people to you unless you ask for a message of some sort. Even then, a message isn’t going to always come through people. So please be careful when searching for a reader. If you can help it, you can buy your own cards (no matter what no one says, there isn’t a rule that someone has to gift you cards) and do your reading yourself until you find the perfect reader for you. Please be safe in this spiritual community because truuuusssstttttt it’s not always love and light when it comes to people!
