Man oh man I would love if the show ever made Hunter have a small little “military soldier ptsd” arc. Like, the smallest thing that seems like a threat, or anything that sounds or reminds him of his missions, makes him go all soldier mode, very aggressive and violent. Like he hears a twig snap in the forest, and he immediately blasts it with his staff. Or when someone is threatening him he gets REALLY violent and hurts them and threatens them. Or maybe sounds/ scenes will remind him of traumatic events in his life, and he gets into either a state of paralysis or a state of survival. Idk, I just think that’ll be really cool and interesting to see.

Probably nothing, but I would like to point this out.

In this scene we see Belos drop the collector down an abyss.

And we all KNOW what’s down there…

And then after this scene with Belos, it cuts back to The Gang™️ and it shows Hunter falling similarity to The Collector.

Now I’m not saying that this is foreshadowing that Hunter will be going down that abyss and see all of those dead Grimwalkers… but… I’m saying that this is foreshadowing that Hunter will be going down that abyss and see all of those dead Grimwalkers.

The show probably won’t do that, but knowing about the whole “Belos splash zone” that got cut, I don’t think the creators are afraid to make Hunter go through even more horrible, real fucked up, shit. Like, being splattered with your uncles remains?? Fucked up! Seeing all of your dead predecessors/ clones corpses? Fucked up! The creators are really not afraid of making Hunter go through morbid and gruesome shit like THAT. Honestly, the creators are just playing a fun little game at how they can make Hunters mental state even worse!! So him seeing the golden guard graveyard is a possibility that doesn’t seem too off the table.

Hunter only cries in the show two times (so far). But even then they aren’t really crying, it’s just very small tears in the corners of his eyes.

(When Belos ignored his questions, and just dismissed him like he was nothing.)

(And when The Collector splattered Belos against the wall.)

Unlike the other characters like Luz, or Eda, or Amity, etc. He doesn’t cry a lot, hell he barely even tears up, even though he’s been through some horrible awful things. He just never really cries. He represses so much, and he probably have gotten used to the pain. He doesn’t express his sadness often times, most likely because he never was allowed to. He grew in a very abusive environment, and a very dangerous environment where if you may let your emotions get the best of you, you may die.

Throughout the show when Hunter is in a dangerous situation/ fight he doesn’t show many emotions. He just keeps a constant focus on the target/ objective. He’s very swift and efficient with getting the job done with no emotions getting in the way. And the only times he has teared up was when things have gotten too much even for him.

He’s tough as hell. But through so much repression over the years, and so much pain bottling up I feel like he may eventually full on cry sometime in the finale. He deserves to honestly, he’s always in a constant state of survival, he deserves to finally feel like he’s safe and just let it out.

Again with so much focus on his hands.

OH MY GOD Fuck OFF Belos.

When they were talking to Luz fighting the cursed form of Belos, all of them said something and smiled except Hunter. Hunter has probably seen his cursed form many times, and knows how dangerous it is. This guy for real has ptsd. He’s just frozen there, looking at this cursed form of Belos. Afraid because he knows that only bad things happens when Belos is in that form.

Hunter instinctively protecting people appreciation post:

He’s been trained his whole life to protect and serve Belos, of course it’s only natural for him to have the instinct to protect anyone in danger.

Why do people always forget that the boots the pants and the gloves are all apart of his golden guard outfit. They aren’t new, he wore the same boots pants and gloves for his outfit in labyrinth runners as well. The undershirt in this outfit also seems to be the same one from Hunting Palismen. The only actual new things is the beige shirt and belt satchel.

I don’t know, I just think it’s weird that people act like he got a totally new outfit, and that his friends dressed him, when most of the outfit is stuff he already owns/ was already wearing.
