love the old comics because I got to the point in Avengers where Wanda, Pietro, and Clint joined and this is basically how it went:
Steve: *returns from being trapped in South America with no way home, having spent several days/weeks literally fighting snakes and jaguars in the wild before finally managing to find a ride out of the jungle and get a plane home. also he had a teenager with him the whole time he was basically just babysitting
Steve:It’s great to be back. Let’s go tell the Avengers I’m alive since none of them went look for me and teenager that’s with me. I can’t wait to see what business they’re attending to.
Thor: *is absent and dealing with some Asgard stuff*
Hank and Janet: *clearly packing their bags*
Tony: Oh great, you’re back. We’re holding a press conference about the fact that we just hired Hawkeye, the Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver as Avengers, even though up until this point all three of them have only been villains, because the rest of us are going on vacation. You’re going to supervise them while we’re gone, Steve. We did not actually vet them to make sure they aren’t still villains, good luck!

Next year will mark FIFTEEN YEARS of the MCU, the front-runner of which was and will always be Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark! Ahead of the 15th anniversary of Iron Man (2008) we ( @hostbustersand@lovenottrauma ) are putting together a tribute zine to our beloved Iron Man!

I like to do fandom stuff sometimes because it’s fun ;)
ForIronstrangebigbang2019 and Golden Asp’s fic A Crown of Thorn and Shadows, which is a Fae AU, so perfect for my weird, overly fussy style. Also, it’s good and you should read it. If you’re into fanfiction…
Big thanks to @golden-asp for writing such a fun story and @ironstrangehaven for hosting and organizing.
Also, let me just say: Benedict Cumberbatch’s face is really hard to draw (like, really hard) so I’m pretty proud of myself :)

Hoarder of ships and hobbies.
I write, craft, make art and moodboards, love reccing fics and joining and volunteering for new events. I love to create a community in the fannish spaces I am in.
Why do you love WinterIron?
I saw one comic panel with Tony fixing Bucky’s arm and never looked back. I love the potential for angst and exploring trauma and the boys helping each other heal.
Why should people join the zine?
I think people should join the zine because it’s a fun opportunity to create something with other Winteriron fans and get to hold those amazing creations physically. This fandom is full of talent and I think sharing that talent with each other would be super exciting!

I make things sometimes.
Most of my time is spent writing multi-fandom things, but I dabble in digital art on occasion whenever I’m not helping to mod creator events across fandom!
Why do you love WinterIron?
Tony Stark and Bucky Barnes are both unironically my comfort characters, but I didn’t fall in love with the WinterIron ship specifically until after watching CA:CW and reading all of the fix-it fics. Their relationship in any varied universe is so nuanced that I thoroughly enjoy playing around in that sandbox.
Why should people join the zine?
We not only put our blood, sweat, and tears into the fanworks that we make but we also infuse them with so much love and joy. Having a physical zine is one of many amazing ways to really make that effort tangible.

Why do you love WinterIron?
I’ve always been drawn to characters that are a bit broken and trying to do their best despite things. Between comics and MCU I just love the potential the two have together.
Why should people join the zine?:
Working with others to make something is always an amazing experience. Definitely recommend giving it a shot to share love for our boys.
