Sé que la pose es demasiado estática, aún tengo que trabajar dinamismo en poses y anatomía del cuerpo y muchas cosas más (no voy a dar abasto ). Me puse a dibujar la cara de Mirror Spock y como me gustó cómo me había quedado, añadí el resto del cuerpo para probar (esto no me gustó tanto cómo quedó ).
I know the pose is too static, I still have to work on dynamic poses and body anatomy and many other things (I don’t think I’ll be able to keep up with it ). I started to draw Mirror Spock’s face and as I liked how it turned out, I added the rest of the body to try it out (I didn’t like it so much ).
Why I drew like this:
Yo siempre he querido que al dibujar personajes se parezcan lo máximo a la realidad y el estilo cómic creo que es de los que más consiguen eso y de los que más me llaman la atención (bueno, también depende de qué cómic, pero yo me refiero a cómics tipo Marvel, que están muy bien detallados).
I’ve always wanted that, when drawing characters, they look as much like reality as possible and I think the comic style is the one that most achieves this and the one that most attracts my attention (well, it also depends on the comic, but I’m referring to Marvel type comics, which are very well detailed).
Además, llevo un tiempo pensando que debo cambiar mi forma de dibujar para que se ajuste más a lo que yo quiero (ahora que llevo un tiempo dibujando de forma seria). Por eso, esta semana me propuse “empezar de cero”. Empecé a ver vídeos, referencias, consejos… de gente que dibuja muy bien ese estilo, para ver cómo podía yo usar esos consejos para hacer eso que decían a mi “estilo” (si es que puede decirse que tengo uno) y que me gustara cómo quedara. Esta semana me he dedicado más a la cara y sus partes, rostros y eso.
Besides, I’ve been thinking for a while that I should change the way I draw to make it more in line with what I want (now that I’ve been drawing “seriously” for a while). That’s why this week I decided to “start from zero”. I started to watch videos, references, tips… from people who draw very well that style, to see how I could use those tips to do what they said to my “style” (if I can say I have one) and that I liked the way it looked. This week I’ve dedicated myself more to the face.

Trataré de dibujar así de ahora en adelante, y espero llegar a cumplir mis expectativas (ahora que me he demostrado a mí misma que puedo dibujar mejor que antes, al menos las caras por ahora).
I will try to draw like this from now on, and I hope to live up to my expectations (now that I have proved to myself that I can draw better than before, at least the faces for now).
Idea: McCoy es un gran doctor, incluso en el universo del Mirror, pero a menudo se ve eclipsado por Spock. Su trabajo nunca está recompensado, y todos piensan que es inútil (es un trabajo que no exige capacidades físicas. La fuerza física en el universo del Mirror es esencial). Spock le obliga a hacer entrenamiento, pero es muy duro con él y lo sobreexplota. McCoy llega a pensar que ser doctor no sirve de mucho en este universo, hasta que salva a Spock de la muerte con sus habilidades médicas y su pericia. A partir de ahí descubre cómo poner cualquier situación peligrosa en su favor en vez de usar la fuerza bruta, y Spock se lo agradece.
Idea: McCoy is a great doctor, even in the Mirror universe, but he is often overshadowed by Spock. His work is never rewarded, and everyone thinks he’s useless (it’s a job that doesn’t require physical abilities. Physical strength in the Mirror universe is essential). Spock forces him to do training, but is very hard on him and over-exploits him. McCoy comes to think that being a doctor is of little use in this universe, until he saves Spock from death with his medical skills and expertise. From there he discovers how to turn any dangerous situation to his advantage instead of using brute force, and Spock thanks him for it.

My headcanon is secretly Spock is most content when he can meditate next to a cat. Also that ever since the beginning of the 5 year journey he actually has a cat and no one sees it until they go into his room and realize that Spock is actually a low key crazy cat lady.
Mind melds are quite literally just metaphysical sex. I’m not talking specifically about the actual mechanism of it or how it “brings two people together” although you could go down that route. I’m talking about how society treats it like it’s such a “big deal” and it’s sacred and blah blah blah blah blah. Yet for some reason, the local slut’s Vulcan’s first solution to any problem is to mind meld and everyone else is like “bro what? don’t do that!” And they’re like “it’s the only way ”. Just sounds like an excuse to bang to me. Furthermore, whenever mind melds go wrong, I guess it’s an allegory for STDs.
