Yaaaaaay!!The website will be a much more structured way to find all our information about the campaign, will be organized so you can search to find posts for specific characters (or ships ) as well as the final news:
We’re creating Narrative Transcriptions for the game!
Narrative transcriptions will include:
Narrativized breakdown of the session
Dialogue between characters
Chapter covers and art in page / scene breaks!!
After a lot of deliberation, we feel that posting the sessions in full won’t make every player comfortable, however our compromise is that once the sessions are fully transcribed, we may release specific or requested videos with consent! (i.e. DJ and Keira’s beer pong game, Ivy and Mac’s performance, Riley going off the wall ) That way, we can gauge comfort on a much smaller scale, and protect all the players.
We appreciate this community we’ve built together so much, and we can’t wait to share the story with you!!! We’ll update you on the website as we work diligently on it.
Two last things - when we post content to the website (Our full chapter transcriptions and art catalogue), we will still post & update this blog! Lastly, we’ll be turning on ‘Tips’ for any transcription updates that will be posted here and linked to the website! If you like what we do, we’re extremely grateful for any and all support!! Tips from this blog go to me (firnella) for writing up the transcriptions, but after each full chapter, we will link everyone’s ko-fi so you can support us individually! Welcome to our very first Trick or Treat Tumblr Event!
Due to the pandemic, and many missing out on being able to enjoy Halloween in person due to lockdowns, theoldguardevents is creating an online Trick or Treat event for Halloween Night!
How does it work?
As a creator, you sign up and create tricks and treats to give out to your fellow fandom members who come knocking at your door!
Trick: a meme, shitpost, funny graphic, crack!fic etc. You can even rickroll (must be ToG related though!)
Treat: a sketch, drabble, graphic, ficlet, character art etc. Any type of lovely creation!
The creations have no minimum, these can be drabbles or sketches to full fics or art pieces, it’s entirely up to you what you want to create! Making around 5 of each to accommodate trick-or-treaters is the goal!
Streets: No doubt, everyone wants to make content they love, so you get to decide what you want to create! If you’d like to create JoexNicky, Andromaquynh, Book of Nile, General, OT3 etc. just let us know in the sign up form! Your mod will organise the rest, making sure people will be directed to the right place to Trick or Treat! Further details will be given to the creators that sign up!
Lights out: Once you’re all out of ‘candy’, you’ll be able to post up a sign that lets people know, so you can decide how long you’d like Trick or Treaters visiting your blog!
