being in the flower always made seungmin feel more awake and alert and just overall happier. he knows it’s because of the flowers themselves. not only do they provide colorful decor for any room, they’re also perfect as a gift and flowers bring cleaner air. that’s just facts. 

he’s hunched over the counter fixing up the seed packets near the register when a customer catches his attention by walking towards him. he stands up straighter and flashes her his usual customer service smile. “what do i recommend? well, some flowers, of course.” 

seungmin breaks out into giggles and shakes his head. “just messing with you.” he continues beaming at her as he tries to ask her some questions. “well, is there anything in particular you’re looking for? color specific? a singular flower? a whole bouquet? a celebration? an anniversary? a gift?”

its a good thing jungeun was in a nice mood. ( she gives credit to the flowers lined up along the shop’s walls. ) otherwise, she would have completely scoffed at his joke. or in her usual fashion, flat out tell him, “you think that was funny? you really think that was funny?” 

she happened to giggle along with the worker and maybe it was because she found him absolutely adorable.his beaming smile was a plus too. ( she makes a mental note to write a good review about the shop later. ) 

as she listened to his questions, she turned back to glance at the flowers. she wasn’t really sure what she wanted, hence the reason why she went up to him in the first place. jungeun recalls a few sappy romance movies she’s watched ( by force, she adds ) in the past. a rose, fit for beauty like you. she wonders what flower she’d be. since she isn’t one for romance, waiting for a knight in shining armor was out of the equation. she assumes asking a floral expert would be the next best bet. 

“hm,” she turns back to the worker. “what flowers do you think suit me best?”
