I really got no idea with what I want to paint the lineart. So I used the watercolor pencils. Never used them. It went pretty well, I guess.

Here’s a little close-up from my last painting, I loved using a rainbow of colours for this one. Created with watercolours, watercolour pencils, acrylic inks, fine liners & gel pens on Daler Rowney Mixed Media paper.

Busy in the studio today painting, gelli printing and monoprinting. Having so much fun playing around with colour and new materials. Here’s a sneak peak of my latest creation. Stuck for a title though, any ideas? xx

This is perhaps my most coveted air plant (Tillandsia xerographica), with its whimsical, curly leaves and beautiful, dusty colours. ❤
