This is a Wrs scepter / Wos scepter because of the jackal head. WAs scepters were symbolistic objects “held by gods to show Their authority, Their power, or Their strength, or a combination of all three. There are was-scepters that were occasionally used by kings; a number of them were buried in the tomb of Nisut Tutankhamen for example. Usually however this is a strictly ceremonial object.”

————————————————————————————————— A more traditional coloration for a Jackal came on this piece. The sand tones with clack and greyed / silver accents can be seen across egypt. For some this is a more earthly, grounded coloration for Him. A swift Jackal that runs across the lands. Even though the sculpt is still, this Wepwawet hardly ever seems to be.
He’s about action, about movement, and about opening the way before Him.

From November 22nd to December 22nd (2021) I will dedicate a week to each deity that appeared in my ritual to meet my divine lineup (RPD) from Kemetic Orthodoxy.

On October 26-2021, I was divined daughter of Aset-Serqet and beloved of Yinepu-Wepwawet, Nekhbet, and Sekhmet-Hethert.
The RPD moment was intense and super emotional. Everything makes sense to me and I’m so happy with my lineup! Explains a lot, actually.
I already have all these deities in my shrine and, my spiritual connection with them, mainly with Aset, was built in the last 10 years of practice.
I start worship Aset and Sekhmet 9 years ago, Yinepu-Wepwawet was 8 or 7 years ago and Nekhbet was 5 years ago. And now I can dedicate myself even more.
They are my first place <3
Mainly Aset, She is everything to me, my queen, my lady, my beginning and ending, I love her so much <3

Eu comecei a cultuar Aset e Sekhmet há 9 anos, Yinepu-Wepwawet há 8 ou 7 anos e Nekhbet há 5 anos. E agora posso me dedicar ainda mais.
