I like to think that in this timeline, the people of hyrule had known zelda and link’s purpose from birth, but nefarious forces stole him away so that he didn’t grow up with the knowledge of who he is destined to be! (Zelda will be next )
Anyway I thought this was day 7 and got a little too excited about it. I guess I also wanted to dump every head canon I had about this old guy into one place before the deadline that didn’t apply.
I call him Eegan. He’s an ex-Sheikah that’s very paranoid about his fairy escaping the empty bottle for some reason. And yes his robe is entirely laced with those blessing papers. It’s storage.

I wasn’t really enthused going into the second day, but once I gave myself permission to use a limited colour scheme I started enjoying it a lot more. I may have used a lot of glow effects because I liked how they looked.
Concept of Zelda in the Sacred Woods, guarding the Master Sword and chilling with bunnies. I took the opportunity to try a new set of brushes, I enjoy it so far! It gives a storybook feeling and I love it ❤️ I added the exploration I did for the Lost Woods as well :)

this is my version of ganondorf! he’s 34 years old, and as stated in nabooru’s introduction, he has no last name due to gerudo culture using mononyms.
born as the first male in a century, ganon was communally raised with koume and kotake taking a fixed point in his life. he was expected to be king, which was a position largely seen as nothing more than a facilitator for public policy the people set forth, and took the role with pride.
koume and kotake, both elders in the community as well as witches, raised ganondorf to explore himself in relation to magic. ganon becomes what the two older women are as well: a cat sith, a witch that can turn into a massive black cat only 9 times before getting stuck as a cat forever. it’s used sparingly, and the only time he’s brought it out was to see if he could really do it. nabooru also had a close hand in ganon’s upbringing, but he finds it difficult to listen to her lengthy political rants– something he soon regrets when the triforce of wisdom seemingly randomly manifests onto his hand.
ganondorf, a pacifist, has no clue what to do when the hylians start closing down on the gerudo oasis. nabooru is always telling him to strike first, but koume and kotake are telling him to take no position but his own. his inaction, however, leads to travesty. the gerudo are nearly destroyed, with hylian occupation leading to a tanking economy and unprecedented violence. and when a hylian, legendary sword in hand and dressed in green, shows up accusing him of killing his family– ganon realizes little too late that he might pay with his life for his idealistic decisions.

this is my version of zelda! she’s 29 years old, and her full name is zelda ameranth bhos. she assumed the throne shortly after her father, king rhonin, and mother, the queen consort, were both poisoned. the murderer was never found.
at the age of 12, king rhonin was fully convinced zelda was a child of destiny. as the royal family had access to the sacred realm at the time, he told zelda to take the triforce. to control her own fate. however, when she made an attempt at grabbing the relic, it fractured. when zelda returned from the sacred realm with only one piece of the triforce, that piece being power, rhonin was sorely disappointed. this event led to the ignition of a war between the hylians and the gerudo: “the war of desert embers”.
often being compared to zeldas of the past by her father, she strives to be the greatest queen hyrule has ever known. this leads to a doubling down on her father’s cruel way of ruling, and a campaign to expand hyrule’s territory with a disregard for the people of bordering nations. as this behavior worsens, so does zeldas mental state– and she has no way of hitting the brakes.

but, this is my version of link! his full name is link o’faolain (very on the nose, i know). he’s 31 years old, and has been working under the hylian monarchy for 13 years. he comes from a small farming village in western hyrule, foxfield, which was burnt to the ground when he was 14. courage didn’t manifest on him for another 3 years after this, though the other triforce pieces had already found their hosts by the time his village was ash.
the werewolf is something that’s been with him since adolescence, but he doesn’t remember anything that happens while in that state. it’s been weaponized as a political tool by the royal family for years, and everyone is under the impression that it can’t be controlled.
he defeated ganondorf a long time ago, putting an end to a war that’d been going on for years and earning him the title of “hero of embers”. he realizes too late that imprisoning ganondorf may have been a mistake.
