It took for about 3 hours to get to the tip of the cape. We had the lobster rolls at The Skipper Chowder House in South Yarmouth, and then drove 1 more hour to get to Provincetown.
They had a cozy front yard to enjoy the sunshine, I felt like I should take some “ look where I’m staying ” kind of photo ;)
Also they serve fresh pancakes and waffles along with coffee, tea, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, bagels etc for breakfast. I had a fresh waffle and it was amazing!
I love wisteria, but it is hard to find a good place to enjoy the color and smell in the US compare to in Japan. There are so many awesome wisteria gardens in Japan. I especially would love to go visit Kawachi-Fujien 河内藤園 when I get a chance to go back to my country…
Anyway, Ptown has many decent wisteria tree, and this one was in someone’s yard, and looked the best I’ve ever seen in MA!
The tower is Pilgrim Monument. Actually Ptown was the very first place where the Mayflower Pilgrims landed. The owner of the guest house told us the story; “ but there was no flesh water so they needed to look for another place to settle down.”
A week ago last Friday, Brian went to a fish market and bought us nice lobstahs, and steamed them at home. Those guys would be very pricey at a restaurant but what you should do is to cook yourself :) It was no doubt, delicious!!
Went to Kimono weekend day 1. The special guest was Kento Itoh who has traveled many countries in his yukata to learn and think about other cultures and environment. I actually didn’t really know the main event was to learn how to wear yukata, so I went there in my kimono, but had a great time with all the people who are interested in Japanese traditional clothing and culture.
My husband and I drove about 1829miles from Oklahoma to Massachusetts, and started a city life with full of hope :) This is our “new” house. More than hundred years old and has the scary looking basement lol Well, it’s dusty but I kind of like it, also my kitties love to explore it!! On the right, they are pictures of the living room, my office, hobby and boudoir room and the kitchen. There are many windows so it is pretty bright inside.
