Magnificent Lobster Rolls at The Skipper Chowder House , Cape Cod.
My husband and I was on an early summer vacation 2 weeks ago, and it started with this fantastic lobster rolls!!
They have 3 kinds of lobster rolls; Traditional lobster roll, Wicked Awesome and Lobster roll Supreme.
We ordered;
Wicked one,
and the Supreme!
I preferred the Wicked Awesome, warm seafood and rich butter… Mmmmm…

Red Lentil Vegetarian & Vegan Restaurant
I am Japanese and I won’t be freaked out of no-meat meal at all, but I am not vegetarian or vegan either.
This Indian vegetarian/vegan restaurant is very close to my house, and has a lot of good reviews, so decided to try it out.
It was a cold night, ordered Red Lentil Soup and Roasted Beets and Walnut Salad as appetizer.
Nirvana Delight. Grilled Tandoori-marinated tofu was very good.
Shepherd’s Pie. It was more like, potato pie. Mushed potato base, sweet mushed potato on top!
I love potatoes, so this was not a problem. And also Japanese people consume a lot of carbs, but still, I was overwhelmed by potatoes and felt like I should go running in the next morning. Tasted so good so I will go back again, but need to check the ingredients before order food.

Birthday dinner at Top of The Hub was excellent! Delicious food and sparkling night view… I’m so happy to be a city girl ;)

This year, we took a day off from dressing up on the Halloween day, I will just save the idea for next year. We just went to a Korean restaurant at Davis Square and then to a theater to see a burlesque show. It was very entertainment! Why it happened was that I didn’t really know if it was okay to dress up in costumes and walk around the city in fun, or some people may think “weird” look. I am a modest and considerate person and just didn’t want to offend anyone by how I look. My inclination is that it is okay to dress up in costumes but it seems like Japan is getting more Halloween friendly than the US though there are some arguments about it. However, you know what? I was working on last Friday in a normal, or rather casual clothes for me, and one middle age lady said very nicely “ I like your costume :) ” Well, so you know, for me, every day is Halloween! 今年のハロウィンはお休みしました。今年のアイデアは来年に取っておこうと思います。晩ごはんに韓国料理、そしてそれからバーレスクショーを観にシアターへ行きました。初バーレスクショーとっても楽しかったです、今度は本物の本物を観に行きたいな。 なぜお休みをしたのか、それは本国アメリカでは、大人はコスチュームを着て街の中を歩いたりしない、夜のパーティかパレードに参加するくらいだといろんな人に言われたからです。それを振り切って他の人の気分を悪くするほどの情熱もなかったので、様子見をしました。印象としては、コスチューム着てもいいけど、日本の大阪や東京みたいな仮装大会な感じではなく、まぁ淡々とした感じ。でも家族でテーマに沿ったコスチュームをきてトリックオァトリートをしているのは何とも微笑ましい情景でした。ハロウィンは本国より、日本に帰るのが大人にとっては一番かもしれない笑 しかーし、今年のハロウィンの一番の思い出は、その前日金曜日に私服、わたくしめにしてはカジュアルでスポーティな自転車通勤ルックで店頭に立っていた時、あるおばさまに「素敵なコスチュームね^^」とお褒め頂いたことです。「いやいや、私服でんがな！」とか大阪ノリではなく「サンキューベーリマッチョ^^」とにこやかに返答しましたが、後からコスチューム！とジワジワきて、一人で気持ち悪く思い出し笑いなどしました。 まぁ、着物やらビンテージワンピやら、コスプレの一部と言えばそうなのかも、ね。ハロウィンと言わず、皆さまも毎日楽しんだらよろしわ。 #koreanfood #davissquare #韓国料理 #デイビススクエア #毎日ハロウィン #コスプレですか？いいえ私服です #ilikeyourcostume (at Meju)

After that, we went to a Chinese restaurant, House of Chang in Cambridge. I forgot to take pictures but it was very decent. They have dim sum lunch for weekends and we have to go back again!
帰りはケンブリッジにある中華屋さんでディナ、写真すっかり取り忘れましたが中々本格で美味しかったです。エビの炒め物はセロリが多すぎてちょっとあれでしたけど。

A week ago last Friday, Brian went to a fish market and bought us nice lobstahs, and steamed them at home. Those guys would be very pricey at a restaurant but what you should do is to cook yourself :) It was no doubt, delicious!!先々週の金曜日は、仕事後にフィッシュマーケットへ寄ってくれた旦那様がロブスタァゲットして帰ってきました。蒸した身がプリップリで最高❤お味噌も、しっかりバケットに付けていただいたけど、どちらも女の子で卵もたっぷり、濃厚だけどカニより臭くない感じ。レストランだときっともっとお高いので、これはもう自分たちで買って料理するのが一番やな！とテンション上がった私は年甲斐もなく舌出して記念写真。うぇーい #lobster #lobstah #boston #massachusetts #seafood #dinner #tooyummy #yum #ロブスター #ボストン #マサチューセッツ #シーフード #魚介 #ディナー #晩ごはん

Saturday Dinner at Park Restaurant & Bar. The muscles were with fresh sage and it was a great flavor. Duck spring rolls were okay, and we went there for the famous patty melt but ended up ordering a ram meat pie. The pie was not very special but the corn bread on the side was amazing! It tasted like more pudding than a bread and I thought it could be a dessert, mmmm.
土曜日の晩ごはん、パークレストラン＆バー。 ムール貝はフレッシュセージが使ってあり、とっても爽やかなお味、スープも濃くなくてゴクゴク飲めそうでした（実際貝殻使って飲みました）。ダック春巻きはまぁまぁ、そしてパティメルトを食べようと行ったのに、今日のおススメのラムミートパイをオーダー。パイはそれほど特別ではなかったけど、サイドのコーンブレッドが激ウマでした。パンというよりプリンみたい、デザートにボール一杯ただ行きたいくらい美味しかったです。次回行ったときはこのコーンブレッド、おねだりしたいと思います。

It was a hectic weekend, like Brian needed to work on Saturday, Leo got sick again and tried to rush into a vet but they denied us saying “ You need an appointment to get to see, or go emergency room ”, Lomi acted weird because Leo was sick, and I got a backache and walked like a shrimp for 3 days… But we all survived and it was the 4th anniversary for us yesterday. We went to a pizza place because for me it’s been about 5 months since last time I had pizza. The restaurant Posto has their own brick oven and the pizza tasted amazing. Everything was great except for the octopus salad; it doesn’t has the gummy texture of the octopus. Most of the people here would love that but I’d prefer real octopus. He’s got me an eau de toilette, I’m one lucky wife smile emoticon Wish us luck on the 5th year!!
先週末は忙しいものとなりました。ブライアンは土曜日お仕事、リオはまた具合が悪くなり急いで病院へ行ったら「予約がないと診ることは出来ません、急いでるなら救急へ行って下さい（ペットも予約がいるとは、アメリカの病院事情はほんと酷い）」と断られ、ロミはリオが病気なので何かを感じ取り挙動不審、そして私は腰を痛め、3日ほどエビの様に歩く生活。。。しかーし、全員生き残り、昨日は結婚4周年記念でした。 記念日ディナーにはピザ、何故なら最後にピザを食べたのが5カ月ぐらい前なので。ポストというイタリアンピザレストラン、煉瓦のオーブンがあって、窯焼きピザは絶妙でした。他のお料理もおいしかったけど、タコサラダだけはもう頼まないでしょう。タコのグニグニ感ゼロな、貝柱みたいなタコでは満足できませんでした。赤い皮の部分も全部削いであって、白いところのみ、そんなに頑張ってタコ食べんでもいいのに！と思いました。 オーデトワレもプレゼントしてもらえたし、良き日でございました。5年目も適当に頑張りますー。

After Beacon Hill window shopping, headed tothe Langham to enjoy afternoon tea. Last time we had one was about 3 years ago in London, it was fun and this time was also excellent. The sweets was not the most special ones but the crab puffs and scones were fabulous!! I have a list of afternoon tea places, can’t wait to try all of them soon :)
ビーコンヒルをブラブラ略してビーブラ、の後は、ランガムというホテルでアフタヌーンティを楽しみました。最後にアフタヌーンティ略してアフティしたのは3年ぐらい前にロンドンで、長旅でしかもノロウィルスに呪われていたのであまり味は思い出せませんが（残念すぎる）、優雅なひと時を過ごし、そして今回も素晴らしくゴージャス。スウィーツは正直それほど特別ではなかったしお茶が一人一種類しか選べないのががっかりしたけど(ロンドンでは時間内なら選びたい放題でした)、クラブ（カニ）パフとスコーンは絶品でございました。ボストンのアフティリストがあるので、すべて制覇するのが楽すぃみです❤

Pregnancy feels
This week I actually started to feel pregnant. I mean I was aware that I was, but I started to get all the symptoms that niggle at you and don’t seem to budge no matter what I did.
I’m currrently on holiday in sunny wales, and I’ve all of a sudden found myself sweating LOADS my body temperate is sky high, I could be sat down doing absolutely naff all and still be dripped in wet. Can’t say that’s my favourite look I’ve been drinking loads of water, which does help, but then I find myself needing a wee every 30 seconds haha. The only way around that was to sip my drinks and just add tons of ice.
I was also a bit wary of wearing my bikini in the pool. The last time I wore it was when I was around 11 weeks. I wasn’t very big then, but I feel bloody humungous now! It actually didn’t look as bad as I thought it would. And I’ve definately learnt how to embrace the bump
The best thing about being in the second trimester is being to eat proper again. I love my runny eggs and steak. Obviously you still need to be a bit careful on what you eat, but my hunger has no limits right now proper foodie me! Haha
And alas! I finally felt baby moving. I can honestly say it has to be one of the best feelings EVER! I say that now, but when she’s booting me at 3am further down the line I will probably change my mind.
