I’ve been wanting to make an anti reylo pin forever, but since I lacked the resources I couldn’t…until a month ago someone reached out to me on Instagram, and now we have this beautiful baby!
30 have been made so far, but only 29 will be for sale (I’m keeping one)
If I get down to only 10 in stock in less than three months, I’ll order more. But if I don’t it’ll probably just be 30 made.
Now I’d like to also talk about how 70% of proceeds from each pin go to RAINN! Here’s the link to their site.
RAINN stands for Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network. It’s an organization to help people affected by, well, those things.
I figured since reylo is a relationship glorifying abuse, that donating to a charity like this would make sense.
Now for questions
How much will this cost? It’ll cost $12 plus $4 for shipping in the US as friends via PayPal. If you want to do goods we’ll just add the fee, shouldn’t be more than a dollar more. The percentage only comes from the $12, tho. That’ll be roughly $8.40 going to charity.
I’m outside the US, can I still get one? Totally, but fair warning, shipping costs a lot more outside the country. Like…a lot more.
Do we get any stickers or other goodies with them? I don’t have stickers for this design, but you’ll get stickers of Disney characters (Tiana, Elsa, Moana, Snow White, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, etc. Mostly princesses since that’s easy to get) including Star Wars characters. Stickers that I got from the dollar store and such.

So I haven’t watched any of the ST other than TFA (and didn’t care for it, frankly) and the leaks about TROS are wildlike Abrams really did That? Look, Star Wars was never great cinema, even the OT had plot holes big enough to drive a Death Star through, to say nothing of the prequels, but at least they managed to tell a reasonably coherent, entertaining story while all the sequel trilogy has done is pander to the reylos and invalidate Everything accomplished in the previous movies. Thisis what we got in exchange for the Expanded Universe?? Every Star Wars novelist understood the material they were working with better than Abrams could ever hope to.
In conclusion, too bad there haven’t been any new Star Wars films since the prequels other than Rogue One, Solo, and TFA, but we have all these animated shows! The Mandalorian is great too! And maybe someday some other creative team will do something worthwhile with the female and PoC protagonists introduced in TFA that is not based around a white manchild’s story!

funny how the original trilogy managed to convey Vader’s atonement for his actions without having him to make out with a woman he’d been abusing for three films. it’s almost like making a woman who had been an object of predatory contempt for a villain into an object of romantic redemption for the same villain would be an idea in poor, misogynistic inconsistent taste lol.
Being “Enemies at war.” Doesn’t change the fact that Kylo Ren used his powers and his abilities to intentionally and purposefully use something that he knew brought Rey heartache for his self serving gains and benefits. As his “You’re nothing but not to me” line was him intentionally bringing up a painful part of her past in hopes of gaslighting and manipulating her into joining his side and his cause. And there’s no doubt that Kylo used this line to manipulate Rey’s feelings to gain for himself whatever he wanted from her at that moment. There’s no doubt that he had self serving intentions and motives behind telling Rey “You’re nothing but not to me.”
Wanting her to believe “You would be nothing without me, you need me.” As for sure Kylo’s intentions are to make Rey believe that she needs him and can’t afford to reject what he is offering her or she would feel like she is nothing or worthless if she does.
Nor does this excuse negate the fact that Kylo physically attacked Rey and tried to forcefully invade her mind against her will and without her consent. It doesn’t negate the fact of Rey feeling fear, emotional stress and discomfort and trepidation around Kylo in many of her interactions with him. Some try to rewrite canon and act like Rey had nothing but positive, friendly and romantic feelings in her interactions with Kylo from the start when that’s not the truth.
And since I have been on the subject of fandom racism and hypocrisy. Is there anything more hypocritical than Reylos who claim that Finn was disrespecting Rey and her agency by trying to take her hand to lead her to safety? As they often use Rey saying “Stop taking my hand”, all while intentionally leaving out and ignoring the fact that Rey offered Finn her hand seconds later. Yet they don’t want to include this or mention it, because it goes against their false narrative of insisting that Kylo is the only man that Rey offered her hand to.
And they’ll go to any lengths to downgrade and downplay Finn’s importance in Rey’s life to try to convince people that Kylo Ren is all that she lives for and the only thing that matters to her. And also demonizes Finn in an attempt to make their white fave look like the better man, person, option when it relates to Rey.
Yet they gloss over and make excuses for the multiple times that Kylo disrespects Rey and her agency by attempting to use his power to invade her space, invade her personally and force his way into her mind so that he can use her pain for his benefit to try to get her to join his side and do his bidding.
They will keep on insisting on exaggerating the hand scene and using it to try to demonize Finn and will accuse Finn of not respecting her agency. All while Kylo has invaded Rey’s space, attempt to forcefully violate her mind, and emotionally/mentally pressure and berate her while she clearly lets him know that she is uncomfortable or in distress or begs him to stop.
It’s both fandom racism and hypocrisy for them to harp on the hand scene and yet be fine with Kylo relentlessly lambasting, gaslighting and berating Rey as she begs him to stop and he refuses to listen. Kylo has either done things to intentionally hurt Rey or intentionally use her pain to his benefit to get her to join his side, his cause and his agenda. While Finn took her hand to lead her to safety and yet it’s Finn who they accuse of not being respectful to her agency, while they insist that Kylo is the perfect gentlemen who always treated Rey with care and who always was respectful towards her feelings and her agency.
Or they try to say that Kylo forcefully invading and violating Rey’s space/mind is okay, rational and acceptable since he and Rey were “at war.”
Reylos: “John Boyega was being so misogynistic when he joked fictional Finn laying the pipe to fictional Rey. What a tasteless joke he made, he should be canceled forever.”
Also Reylos: “LMAO let’s take trample over the feelings of an elderly women and make memes off of her experience. By making fun of Kylo Ren/Adam Driver potentially assaulting and threatening women with chairs. Because the situation being cleared up makes it okay for us to laugh about women being abused, assaulted and physically threatened with chairs.”
So, I just saw so many people talking stuff about Reylo in the reylo tag and I have to answer it in a polite way. “Kylo Ren can’t be redeemed” First of all, who’s his grandfather? The guy that literally killed CHILDREN. That FORCECHOKED his pregnant wife. Who joined the dark side, became Darth Vader, killed and tortured so many people and YET could be redeemed. Because of, guess what? LOVE. “Kylo Ren has no excuses to be such an asshole to everyone he killed his father” Oh, I was under the impression he had being manipulating since before he was born by Snoke, and still he couldn’t kill his mother OR Rey. He was brainwashed all those years, what did you expect? That he would be a dark side gentleman? C'mon. Plus, killing his father destroyed him. Snoke said it himself. “Reylo is abusive” Bish, where??? At first they met as enimies, sure they wouldnt treat each other like lovers. As they started to understand each other, you can see changes here and there but those things take time to happen. Rey now understands that Kylo was manipulated. Yet, he needs some time. And oh, they are equally strong. Kylo had the chance to kill her and he didn’t. And won’t. Reylo gets so much hate because he is a villain and that’s all. But those new Star Wars films want to show us that “evil” and “good” aren’t the only things that rule the galaxy. That a person can be evil and good. That a B A L A N C E can exist. And do you know how? By saving the ones we love. That’s not new, guys. Luke did it. The answer was always there. If Luke believed that Vader could be redeemed, why can’t Rey do the same?
I’m really confused as to why I’m getting R*ylo blogs recommended to me when I don’t ship it, have never posted about it or have ever liked a post about it

The panda is literally a combination of dark and light elements that form a whole, and I strongly doubt it was chosen as a symbol of the movie arbitrarily. Basically, the panda is the R/ylo logo.”
Whenever i go on the Daisy Ridley tag to see some great photos/edits/art I always end up seeing Reylo. If only you could block a tag, that would make Tumblr a MUCH better place tbh.
To all of the Finn/Finnrey fans that are getting attacked, or have in the past, you are amazing and should not be treated as anything else but that. I and many other people on this site are here for you.
For Finn fans, I totally blame the PR department of The Force Awakens for this. I can understand their anger and disappointment, as they played off Finn being the ‘Star’ in the merch and posters. I personally always felt Kylo was the male lead, even before I saw the film, simply because he is the new generation of Solo/Skywalker and the legacy character. It seems clear to me, but LF marketed it otherwise. Even though I am a Reylo shipper and a Kylo/Ben supporter, I love the character of Finn and still want him to have a rounded and meaningful arc.
Reylos love finn, just as the background black character he was supposed to be from the start that PR people misunderstood. We sure are lucky the PR people figures things out this time around. (<— sarcasm)
No offense, you might be a nice person, but I’d rather reylos just stay off my post. You’re all getting what you want, you don’t need to gaslight everyone into thinking you were right all along. You weren’t. You just happen to have white supremacy on your side and that’s not really something to brag about.
Trust me, I’m not bragging about it. I think it sucks, if that is what LF had intended for Finn. I am not a reylo who gaslights people. In fact, I firmly believe anything can happen. Nothing is written in stone right now. I’m sure there are many malicious minded people who will rejoice IF reylo becomes canon by mocking FinnRey shippers. I am not malicious. My feeling early on that Kylo would be the male lead was totally due to his lineage, nothing else. He is the son of Han and Leia, and Anakin’s grandson. And I CERTAINLY didn’t think he’d be the male lead because of any romantic entanglements with Rey. Just so you know, I meant no disrespect. This post popped up on my feed, is all.
Given how much you shit all over Finn’s character on your blog, while “Ben” apparently is sympathetic for every wrong he did because it’s not really his fault or something, not to mention how you hep twist every single scene with Finn in it to suit your reylo narrative, I find your “good faith” to be completely false.
Besides, you míght not mock, but you have not problem supporting or cheering for blogs who have habitually vilified and attacked Black fans who loves Finn. So again, your good reylo narrative sounds incredibly false.
a protagonist the the main character that you follow through a story. here are some examples of protagonists:
harry potter. katniss everdeen. nathan drake. indiana jones. bella swan.
you follow these characters through the story. the focus is on them and their development.
you can also have multiple protagonists, as seen in pretty much all of star wars
protagonists don’t have to be heroes. dexter morgan is not a hero, but he is still a protagonist.
an antagonist is the person/people/etc in opposition to the protagonist. they can still be a large part of the story, but it is not their story. here are some examples:
voldemort. darth vader. president snow. loki. the joker.
antagonists aren’t always villains. bucky barnes is an antagonist in catws because he is working in opposition to the protagonist, but he is not in control of what he does and therefore not a villain.
in context of tfa, rey and finn are the protagonists. they are the ones that we follow through the story. we see their relationship blossom, we see their development, we see them grow and change. we are rooting for them. we follow the story through their perspective.
kylo ren is working in opposition of them. he is trying to stop them from getting bb8 to the resistance. we don’t see his development, we don’t see his story.
like. this is very simple writing 101 kind of stuff. this is so simple that it shouldn’t even have to be explained. so what if kylo ren isn’t a protagonist - why does it bother people so much that he isn’t? there’s nothing wrong with admitting that an antagonist is an antagonist.
I’m continuously impressed by the fact that despite all the English literature degrees reynos share between them, they as a group can’t understand basic narrative concepts.
me: i do not care about kylo or reylo when it comes to discussing finn getting sidelined by lucasfilm as a protagonist. stop making this conversation about them and missing the point. this goes beyond fandom culture and shipping discourse.
