After SDCC got canceled and we’re pretty sure Celebration isn’t in the cards anymore either, Pat Loika and I were bummed that it would likely be next year before we would get to shoot…So he got permission from the original photographer to do this edit, and I am so happy and blown away!
I love how y’all spent years defending Ben Solo and saying just because he’s Darth Vader’s grandson, doesn’t mean he’s bad then constinously shit on Rey for being a Palpatine which she has no control over. Misogynistic much? You can defend a male character without putting down a female character.

This is how I imagine Palpy would react if he did inhabit his granddaughter’s body.
This is Star Wars canon now, because I refuse to accept any other explanation than that Palpatine is driving Rey’s body around and trolling the New New Republic post-RoS, although as you can see, he’s got his own problems now.
You know, this movie didn’t destroy only Anakin and the Skywalkers, but even DARTH SIDIOUS.
-His main goal is just for Rey to show up, literally kill him, and take over everything he built. The bad guy’s plan was to survive the Death Star explosion and somehow cheat death only to actually be killed by someone else. It completely destroys Palpatine’s characterization and motivations. “But Palpatine wanted Luke to kill him and take over the Empire!!”. Yeah, NO =_= Palpatine goaded Luke to get him to give in to his anger, but never truly believed Luke could kill him and had everything planned. It was a trap. He never wanted Luke to kill him. And he never wanted Anakin to kill him.
-He has NO IDEA how he’s still alive.
-He has a son. He has a granddaughter. This is a bad fanfiction. Rey parents are nobody but her grandfather is somebody. Cool. I’m not a fan of the Last Jedi, but “Rey nobody” was the best thing of that movie. And now Abrams ruined everything with this “Palpatine’s granddaughter” nonsense.
-He dies by his own refusal to stop shooting his own lightning.
