Went around Oklahoma City to pick up furniture which we found on Craigslists. It was very hot outside, sun was strong and 620 km of long drive wore us out but t was a very successful trip.
I love all of them. What is interesting is that our desks have kind of similar motifs, the ball and claw legs and the handles. I didn’t really realize that until short while ago, and I think they were/are common designs but I would like to say that they might have meant to be here together later.
If anyone’s wondering, these documents are huge, written in inks on fine (super hi quality, like 150ish g art paper) calf vellum. My side sword & glasses for comparison.

The name of the man in the photo is Manuel, the grandfather of @nataliaovsanchez She is extremely grateful to him, she told me: My grandpa, Manuel, had many stories to tell but one that stayed with was this one. He was in a bus at a young age and it went down a hill. He told me that he was greatly injured and said that he could feel his own skull . No one came to help him. He was left there for dead. He never ever gave up. He said that he put his skin back like a banana peel haha. He taught me a life lesson that you can not always depend on others and you must be willing to fight for your life.
