People are not puzzles because they are tough to figure out— no; rather, it is the transformation from shattered fragments to fractured masterpiece that is so similar to the human condition. When a man is born, he is a box of broken and confused pieces dumped out onto the table of existence. He is unsorted, helpless— a mess.
The hands of life and experience slowly bring about a half-done image, a partially completed project that only brings frustration and discouragement to those who glance at it. It’s when the puzzle is nearer to completion that the true worth of its existence is seen.
The beauty of a puzzle does not lie in the perfection of the finished image; rather, the beauty lies in the spiderweb of fractures— the lines, curves, cracks and angles— that show proof of a broken masterpiece brought together.
People are like puzzles. Their true worth is seen in how their broken pieces come together to create the stunning masterpiece that is Healed Humanity.

I’m late to Inktober, but better late than never I guess? Here’s to Steven Universe, the Crystal Gems and a song that never fails to make me feel stuff.
Highlights from a trip to Mt. Komorebi. Paolo enjoyed flying to the top of the ski slopes on is broom., Marcus enjoyed the onsen and poor Jade stayed at home to avoid the sunlight.
Fun fact: Spellcaster Sims can’t ski or snowboard when their familiar has been summoned. Sorry, Sixam… no slopes for you!
I’m trying to renovate Factory One, where the Partihaus live. In my game, they’re all occults, so I thought it might be quite cool to turn their house into a renovated church instead of a factory. I tried to keep the shape similar, though… so you still get a nod to the original.
It’s just the shell at the moment and needs a whole lot of work before it’s anywhere near complete. Any suggestions for how I could improve it at this stage?

On a wet and overcast day, Marcus and Jade snuck over to The Bluffs. Marcus soaked in the relaxing waters, and Jade enjoyed a chance to get out in the daytime (the thick cloud kept the sunlight at bay, as long as she stayed hydrated!)
