It’s been a long time – several months – since my last tribute to an extinct and short-lived tumblr. Here’s a new one, this time to pixie-boys (October 2019 – July 2021). I selected a fine collection of 18/25 year-old cuties… The texts – if any – are mine.
This was a pretty ambitious set I created a week or so ago. Back in January I got some jewelry grab bags and in one of them was a palm tree pendant (it was a pendant/pin type of pendant) and I knew it would be perfect for a summer themed jewelry piece so I set it aside. A few months passed and I bought some summer themed charms and in it were three small palm trees and it clicked to me that I could just make a whole set with them.
I used orange mother of pearl beads (the tiny orange ones and the sun ones), pearl beads (white, brown, and yellow), and shells beads to really push the beach theme I wanted to go for it. I then used chain for the necklace so the beads and pendant stood out more. Three or four days ago my mom was eyeing the set but waited to see if anyone else would buy them (since I do sell my jewelry irl as well among friends and my mom’s friends) and when no one bought it she then bought it.
I am genuinely happy how well this piece came out.
Around the name time I made the Flower Basket necklace I made this necklace with the pendant being an wooden hibiscus flower. I used shells, pink coral, and pearl beads to really emphasize the ocean/beach theme. This also recently were bought by my mom.
Some time ago I got this little flower basket necklace and I decided to mess around with the chain by adding beads just make it more interesting. It recently got bought by my mom who is gifting it to one of her friends.
So far this was one of my favorite Christmas pieces I made. I made and sold this to one of my mom’s friends. She was the one who chose the pendant she wanted and I got it so I could make it into a customized necklace.

And this is the last Christmas jewelry piece I’ll be making for 2021. Now I will be taking a short break from jewelry making so I can rest and do other stuff.
So I got two gingerbread men pendants and decided to make two different variants. It was pretty cool to see what I can do similar and different. These sold pretty quickly.
I will make a mental note to do more gingerbread based jewelry next holiday season.
Necklace artist handmade lanyard lariat lavalliere
Local artist made lariat or lanyard style necklace in shades of rose, pink, purple and cream. Necklace is on gold tone chain and contains - amethyst, freshwater coin pearls, dyed oyster shell, clear polished quartz, rose polished quartz, raw rose quartz, dipped pearls (glass beads dipped in a medium that makes they look like pearls), blown Venetian glass beads.
