In today’s Big Brother society, it’s sometimes useful to cover your face during protests or direct actions. Confuse the cameras by becoming an adorable kitten or puppy, fighting fascism tooth and claw! Someone I know recently told me all “real runners” wear shorts in the dead of winter. Well, I’m sorry, but if wearing 6 layers and a massive scarf in a race makes me not a tough enough runner then please disregard the fact I ran 26.2 miles one month ago ‘cause clearly I missed the “real runner” memo I’ll gladly keep my hand warmers and double leggings over being “tough” any time.
