Ok, Let’s talk about the First time you stepped out your comfort zone! How did you feel? When you first stepped out of that box did you start thinking what the hell am I doing? Lol Well, I did- To be exact I had to make myself belive that I could truly do it! As you can see I’m curvy (size 16) and short (5′3″). Living in LA being thick or big or having a couple of love handles aren’t really in style to say the least. However, That wasn’t the problem for me it was that I’ve never really shown my body in this way before. Picture yourself passport ready for your first real vacation. You pack a month early then to realize you don’t have a swimsuit! Ugh.. Why me I thought! Of course I didn’t want just any swimsuit I wanted something that I could possibly feel amazing in that wasn’t a boring One piece. Yes, for me I was leaving myself open to all unwelcoming comments & the glares at the fitting room from other women, and the beach. However, I didn’t care at this point so I thought and began my journey to find the perfect bikini. I started out like most women online lol then I ran into yet another problem! In the fashion world I’m consider “plus size” but when I shop at plus size stores I’m to small to fit the clothes or when I shop at regular stores I’m too Big! Let’s just say the struggle was all the way real! It was very depressing I felt defeated when I left most of the stores, Let’s not forget having to return things I purchased online paying for shipping fees. It was like a bad nightmare I couldn’t wake up from! I decided to just try the least unthinkable store that came to my mind Forever21. I go inside I quickly see things I wanted to try on. I called a close friend and told her okay so I’m bout to try on some things on & send you pictures I need you to tell me what you think! Lol.. I know we all do this right? lol Umm ok well maybe just I do! I go into the fitting room put the items on then look into the mirror. I look at every inch of my body as if I have never seen it before in amazement! I started to smile but quickly realize it has to be the mirror  trying to make me buy it, then when I get home it may not look the same on me as it did inside of the store! Lol.. Yes a second and a third opinion is needed. I started taking the fitting room selfie’s and send them to my friend. At this point I needed to be sure so I open the fitting room door very slowly and quietly ask the small skinny lady to come here please and then I ask “Does this look ok on me”? She had me come all the way out of the fitting room & started to backed up. As she does this other women are looking making it a scene. I started to feel so embarrassed then she replies with a “Yasssssss” Gurl you doing that! lol The other women started saying it’s cute on me even asking me where in the store did I grab it from? I could’ve just died right there on the spot.. Like literally I was in shock! As I looked at my phone my friend sent heart emoji with her approval..  I took that feeling with me as I took my vacation to Jamaica. It was a hit.. Long story short had I not got defeated with all the other stores & not took a chance of stepping out side of my regular self doubt of thinking what would people say or think I would’ve never gotten that great confidence boost! I stepped out that box and it paid off.. So I encourage you to do the same with something you struggle with! Tell me about one of your experiences, what was the out come?

wake up & go on adventures take big steps out of your comfort zone! if anyone would have told me that I’d be spending my summer in a place where it’s colder than it is at home, I’d have laughed at them. but that’s what we did this year, spent our summer in Sweden. and let me tell you, it was so beautiful. all this barely touched nature calmed me down so much - I am super glad to have stepped out of my comfort zone I urge you to try out new things once in a while

sometimes getting out of your comfort zone is just the thing to do Honestly, I’m sooooo scared of having my face in a picture today I got a new camera and spontaneously decided to take a big big step out of my comfort zone and take a selfie. It’s funny how I am never scared to try a new yoga pose (and fall down a lot in the process) - but taking a picture of my face but while I’m writing this I already feel how my (kind of weird) anxiety falls off me. don’t let your fear limit you

Laundry day for her comfort blanket. She loves that blanket so much that she will lay and lick it all day. But it gets really gross really fast! Anyone have any solutions for this?

This is my little cave. It is open enough to not feel closed off from the rest of the apartment but can be closed off completely if needed. I can see the TV in the living room if I want. I can craft and still be social. Is good place. Is happy place.❤#craftspace #comfortzone #WhereItAllHappens #CostumeWorkspace

Living afraid of failing and making mistakes will keep you from experiencing so many things. It causes unnecessary stress and anxiety about situations where you could potentially fail and steals your happiness. You learn from mistakes and making yourself realize that you’re human and you’re going to make mistakes and that’s okay is hard, but once you do, you realize that stressing about things won’t make the end result any different. Take chances in life and don’t be afraid of making a mistake, otherwise you won’t learn and you won’t truly live. There’s SO much out there on the other side of your comfort zone, you should really check it out sometime. ❤
