I really hate to do this again but my family is once again in financial trouble and we need help.
My husband had to leave his job because a fellow employee tested positive for COVID and was back to work within a week. While he was awaiting his own results, he was suspended for not coming in as per the CDC recommendation that people await results in quarantine. When he returned to work the vivid-positive employee was back on the schedule and his concerns were met with indignance and threats from both the manager and store owner. I’m immuno-compromised and unable to work, and my husband was afraid for the safety of myself and our kids.
We’re still very behind on bills and getting close to broke because of the pandemic. He has another job offer lined up but it’ll be a few weeks before he’s getting paid again and we don’t have enough funds currently to wait until then. Anything helps and I’m once again grateful for any help received. It’s humiliating to keep reaching out for help but we can’t risk losing our home or making our children go without. Thank you all once again.
I want to extend thanks to everyone who’s helped so far, but I also need to ask for more help.
We currently have about $100 in our bank account and all of our bill are past due. My husband isn’t having any luck finding another job as the market in our area is pretty dry, and we won’t make it to the next covid relief package given all the delays in congress.
Please reblog and help this spread around, anything helps in a time like this. We have local food banks to help make sure our kids are fed, but our mortgage isn’t protected by the rent moratorium and our city utility companies won’t work with us to keep them on if the bills get too high. I hate to beg and ask for help but we’re in desperate times. Thanks again to anyone who helps us.
THEY GOT MONEY FOR WARS BUT CAN’T FEED THE POOR.
