THEM! What an absolutely beautiful picture! (I don’t know if it’s okay to share on insta but I must at least reblog here.) I am not surprised at its beauty considering the immense talent of the artist, but what a cute commission. Love Aiden’s hair (it’s full of secrets! Beauty secrets) and Harvard’s jumper.

Prince’s Gambit was by far my favorite out of the Captive Prince Trilogy. Golden Age vibes, Commander x Second-in-command, UST, it truly had it all to make me fall. This was one of the scenes that had me actually trembling while I was reading.
This is a re-post of a revised version of this art. A couple of people have pointed out that Damen looked too white, which was a fair point, so I wanted to revise it.
Damen actually started out much darker when I first began drawing, but I got too wrapped up in the act of drawing itself, as well as adjusting for overall colour balance etc. that I didn’t even notice the end result until Anon pointed it out! Definitely a case of needing to take a step back from my own work than anything intentional. As someone with an Asian heritage, whitewashing is the last thing I’d do. Hope that clears everything!
Again, 90% of this was inspired by the vacation feels I get from Assassins Creed Odyssey locations. I know that it’s missing waves and reflections, but I kinda enjoy the calm pool feeling I got by accident, so left them out on purpose.
I also enjoy how different crops can make it like a little comic!
About once every few years I feel this vague need to paint something abstract and involving hands, to express a very particular feeling. This one is also my ongoing longing for a mediterranean vacation.
Giant ridiculous medieval hats are the best. I imagine he’d have a whole collection ‘for disguise purposes’. Also: starburst anchor plates as imaginary architecture feature, cause it’s a fantasy culture anyway. Expressing my desire to travel to European cities through painting.
An photo study of real life Villa Kérylos in Beaulieu-sur-mer, to practice lighting and perspective, then exaggerated the scale and added fanart elements. This is mostly inspired by hours of watching assassins creed odyssey locations and wishing I could visit those places for real!

Painting from imagination as a quarantine project, this is how I pictured Heston’s estate (with some creative liberties) at some point after the end of the books.
I did this Captive Prince sketch a long time ago ! But I lined it on Procreate last week at the convention and I coloured it and… I’m so happy with the result ! It’s probably from the beginning of their relationship, where Damen could have killed Laurent asap haha !
I’d be lying if I say I was calm and relaxed at the end of “Dark Rise” by Cs. Pacat (the author of Captive Prince).
I was screaming bc of James (obviously my fav character) everytimes he was around Will ! The last part of the book, especially the last sentence, made me literally screaming on my bed.
Even though I told myself that I would take a little break from reading to focus on finals, last week I started this series aaaaaand then binge read the second two all in like two days…..but I think we all have those books that just suck us in - for me recently (other than this series) was the SOC duology, The Raven Cycle and AFTG. Which books have you just not been able to put down?
